This is a review of the office staff and not the doctor herself. I booked an appointment the beginning of November for January for our six year old daughter. They were on a two month wait which is understandable due to all the shutdowns this year, less patients in the office etc. Our daughter is NOT a new patient. I verified the date and time twice. I live by my calendar. We show up this morning to be told that our daughters appointment was yesterday. The primary number on my file was my old work number. Well, since COVID I am no longer at that number. Which was not verified at the time the appointment

Dr. Shabazz has treated my whole family for different skin issues and we have always been pleased with the exceptional care we received. She is very thorough, explains clearly and does not rush appointments. Waiting is minimal and staff are always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Shabazz.

Excellent first visit - Dr. Shabazz took all the time needed to make sure I understood and was comfortable with the process. I did not feel rushed nor was I made to feel like my reason for coming in was any less important than any other of her patience. I left knowing she had listened to what I said and treatment prescribed was specific to MY needs.

Great appointment. This was our first dermatology visit with this practice. Dr. Shabazz made the visit very informative and took her time to explain options and ensure we had had our concerns addressed and came up with a comprehensive action plan. Her staff is friendly and super helpful. The location is great and easy to find. The lobby is welcoming, as is reception.

Highly recommend Doctor Shabazz! She takes the time to not just tell you what you need to do for your acne problem but will explain to you the problem which is very important. Her assistant is also amazing. Great service! Very happy to have finally found a good dermatologist for my teen daughter. My daughter also left the Doctor office very happy and positive that she will get good results this time.

I Love Dr Shabazz and her staff. Everyone was so friendly, very informative and my wait wasn’t long at all. The waiting room was so comfortable. Dr Shabazz was fabulous. She made eye contact when speaking, listened when I spoke and answered all my questions one at a time with as much information as I asked for. She was very honest, funny and made me feel right at home. The nurse who assisted was so great to me and explained how to use the samples I received for the psoriasis on my scalp before I even had to ask. Loved my appointment.

I have been to several dermatologists over the years and Dr. Shabazz is by far one of the very best!! She thoroughly explained my issue, discussed my options, provided me with samples, and gave me literature. She is so knowledgeable and kind. If you are looking for a dermatologist and especially one who specializes in ethnic skin, she IS the one to see!
