Idle Hour Winery & Kitchen and Queen's Inn & Wine Bar are located on the same property, 13 miles south of Yosemite National Park in the beautiful western Sierra Nevada foothills. We are open for wine tasting daily from 11am until 5pm, and Sundays, 10am until 2 pm. Our Kitchen is open for lunch service as well, Mondays-Wednesdays, 12pm to 4pm, Thursdays-Saturdays, 12pm-6 pm and Sunday Brunch from 10am-2pm.

My friend and I had a magical experience here! We both had the avocado toast, delicious and fresh, I had the sangria and it was also yummy and refreshing. We sat under a beautiful tree, made us feel like we had a private table. Jennifer was the best! She was fun, sweet and attentive and even told us tourists about Bass Lake that we went to after and had the best day! Thank you Jennifer! I can't recommend this place more, and it's even dog friendly, and if my dog isn't invited, I'm not going! It will be a highlight of my trip. Thank you!

They are so awesome here! Very casual setting so for those of us that get nervous about white table cloths or taking notes through a tasting... this is your place! But don't think that means they don't know their wines so quiz away if you are expert level... or just curious... They have a great tasting of 5 wines for $8!!! Try to find that price in Napa or Paso. (And occasionally they might throw an extra wine at you... shhh) Plenty of shade and breeze escaping Yosemite National Park. A kitchen is tucked in the corner if you come hungry, but the wines are available with or without accoutrement

Some local friends and I went to see the live band on a Saturday evening and enjoy dinner on the outside patio. It was so much fun! The Vince Warner band was great and the dinner was delicious! Honestly, being on the patio is such an experience in itself. It is so lovely with all of the trees surrounding you and the fresh mountain air to breathe in, while you enjoy your meal and the music. Lisa and Philip, the two bartenders, were both so sweet and make you feel like they've known you forever. I didn't meet Anna, one of the owners, but Deb, the other owner, is terrific! She has the greatest personality

Fantastic! All of the wine and food was amazing and staff was incredibly friendly. We did a tasting and all the wine was great, we ended up taking home a few bottles of the Sauvignon Blanc and the Cabernet Franc (it was a close call with the Red Blend). Food was all delicious too (we had a charcuterie board, homemade tomato soup w/ a fancy grilled cheese, and roasted artichoke salad)! Definitely worth a stop if you're anywhere in the Bass Lake / Oakhurst area!
