I want to say that Gill’s Alterations saved my wedding! My wedding is coming up on December 19th, and long story short I had a dress alterations nightmare at David’s Bridal. I ended up buying a new dress and I took it to Sandy at Gill’s Alterations with less than a month to spare. The price was affordable and she knew exactly what needed to be done. I didn’t feel like she kept trying to add things on like at DB. And to top it off it was complete in a little over two weeks. I can’t wait to marry my fiancé and I feel amazing in this dress. I needed a dress that I ordered online altered.
The dress was very lowcut and not appropriate
for a wedding I was to attend. Gill took material from one of the pockets to make the neckline higher. She also added material to said pocket to make it back to its original size. It was done so perfectly that it looked like the dress was made that way to begin with. Beautiful work and very fine stitching by Gill. This was my first time here and now I’ll never go anywhere else. Highly recommended and reasonably priced!

I took my wedding dress to have it taken in at the straps and hemmed. Both were done perfectly. I also had a French bustle made, bad idea. Definitely recommend This business if you are just doing alterations like hemming or taking things in. If your wedding dress calls for a french bustle and you want it to look perfect, then find a more specialized business. You could see the threads through the dress, I was so heartbroken, even after removing the added threads, my dress still shows where the sewing happened. Omg, I love this place. I used then last year to alter my nieces top to her prom dress. I needed it done quickly, actually within a few hours. My niece lives out of state, but was here dress shopping. So I wanted it done before she left. They got the job done in two hours and it was perfect!!! Fast forward to now. They canceled my nieces prom last year but we still had the dress. But now it's too tight. I go back to them to alter the top again and let the bottom out some as well. She remembered the dress from last year. I was shocked!! It's another rush job because my niece has to leave soon. She
