We carefully decide which substrate, media type, correct blasting pressure, distance and angle to use, and what to protect from the blast. Careful attention to detail leaves a uniform finish with a complete removal of paint/rust/body filler. We locate excess trapped media and clean it out, this is a HUGE step that most companies don't bother with.
Dustless blasting is basically the same thing as sandblasting, but is a wet blasting process. The blasting media is mixed together with water inside the blasting chamber. Add compressed air and you basically have the equivalent of a pressure washer and a sandblaster in one. Dustless blasting is great for mobile applications where dust abatement is very important.
We completely media blast vehicle body shell and parts after which we blow out all the blasting media. At this point we hang the body shell or parts on a rolling rack and rinse the metal with deionized industrial water to remove blasting dust and any remaining blasting media. After everything is rinsed we roll the rack into the oven and prebake the vehicle and other parts to prepare surface for coating.
A close inspection of the item before moving to the oven is required to make sure everything is evenly coated. As powder coated items are baked, the base metal needs to reach a certain temperature and remain there for a specific time in order for it to cure properly. Choose your powder coater wisely because if any of these steps are skipped the product might look good at first but eventually have disastrous results down the road.

I used this place about a month ago and forgot to post my review. I brought in a bicycle frame and wasn’t having luck finding a place that would powder coat it. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and both people that helped me were very friendly. They gave me a quote and turn around time and were true to both when I picked it up. My frame came out amazing and can’t wait to get my next frame done from them. The attention to detail was phenomenal. My bike build sold to a happy buyer. Highly recommend.

These guys do quality work. They blasted and epoxy coated my 56 chevy pickup body. They were ready for me on the drop off date, they were done on time, and the price was fair and never changed. They unloaded and loaded the parts and were really great people to deal with. Highly recommend. Very happy customer.

I took my Newly Built Smoker Trailer to Pro-Strip and they were Fantastic! I got a really great deal on a complete Sandblasting, Powder coating of the Trailer and non cook surfaces, with all cook / heat surfaces ceramic coated.
When I picked the 16' L x 7' W x 6'5" T trailer back it was out of this world. I really like that The crew at Pro-Strip took the time for the small details and made something my family worked hard to build by hand look so great.
