Food was average with small portions. Service was poor. Incorrect dishes were delivered to members of our party and passed around. Not good practice during pandemic. Desserts were left out for some guests. Multiple wait staff blatently ignored requests when waived over for assistance making eye contact then looked away. Staff was not wearing masks. 3% added for credit card pmt. $80/person avg for a 3 course BYO warrants a better experience.

My cousins came to visit from Connecticut yesterday and we went to Pavesi for lunch. We had a really great time, it’s bring your own booze so we had a bottle of red & white. We had appetizers to die for and their bread was scrumptious. My cousins had short ribs and fish, my brother had veal and I had aldente rigatoni pasta as our main dishes and everything we had was amazing and cooked to perfection. The food, the presentation and the service was first class. Thank you Allah, you served us well. And thank you for holding the clothing left behind. We were happy it was still there the next

Ordered two dinners for delivery thru Door Dash. Food was good but delivered cold. Portions were small and Chicken Milanese was served on a very small, warm, wilted salad. Restaurant should know better and package salad separately from the chicken. Will not order from them again

Came here for dinner on Friday night. The place was busy and the ambiance is good. But we ended up leaving with a mixed feeling about the food. For the price we paid and the hood ambiance a live music , there was a mismatch on the food quality. I would describe the entrees as average as best. I finished my past dish half and my daughter finished a quarter at best. When the waiter followed up on “how is the food”, we informed him of the lack of any taste and the sauce is off. He just said “ok” and was gone. I know they are busy and there is a bit of labor shortage but that cannot boil down

I used to go here often years ago, back when the waiters were all middle aged from-Italy-Italians. They would hand-select the items for your antipasto. It's not as great today but still very good. Prices are very reasonable. Nice interior. We ate outside, which is new since the pandemic.

Amazing! Just wow! Yes w an Italian last name of smith. Im super picky n have to say food is incredible n under priced for the quality. Service is top notch n observing owner is very involved, inspiring and motivating to his employees! 5 stars all around

This restaurant is the best in Morristown! My boyfriend and I go there frequently and the staff is always so friendly, the food is delicious, and there is always great entertainment. If you want excellent italian food in the Morristown area, you can’t get any better. Try the shrimp parm or the bolognese!

FOOD POISONING (Campylobacter). Yes it happened at this restaurant (Pavesi) to two of the people in our party (one had to go to the ER) who ate the same food. The health department was involved. Called the restaurant to let them know that they may have an issue and was dismissed by the owner. Was told they would refund our bill - they never did. Ultimately, it just shows they don't care about their customers health and safety.

My sister is having a rehearsal dinner there for my nephews wedding. Met Moe the owner he is very nice! He really seems to care about his customers! Great prices! And this restaurant has little Italy charm. It drew me right in. Can't wait until October's big event!

Delicious, welcoming, cozy, entertaining, fresh, healthy and the staff is amazing. The manager/host is so professional and welcoming, the assistant waiter was so efficient and helpful and our waiter Alaa, was so accommodating, professional and an important element in making my birthday dinner so unexpectedly fun! He also was so patient and answered all of our questions about the menu, attended to all of our dietary needs and gave us great meal suggestions. Since my partner and I weren't able to eat at our first choice, we were in luck and went next door to this classic Italian restaurant that offered indoor dining. Our temperature was taken by an apparatus as we walked in. There were a few patrons having dining and was whisked to a table. Social distancing is enforced at this establishment. We were greeted by our server, Tianny. The menu was downloaded via QR scan on your phone. Warm delicious and crunchy bread rolls and garlic breads were offered to us. We decided on the lasagna and chicken francese accompanied with vegetables and potatoes

This was a last minute sit down because they had a tent and outdoor seating with heaters. It was cool and rainy last night. This place was so covid friendly. Servers wore gloves. Everyone masked. Servers and staff constantly checked in with us. Food was delectable.

Ambiance and food are a 5. But if you are nervous about COVID, this is not the place for you. The owner was walking indoors, outdoors and speaking very close to people's tables with his mask around his chin. It was upsetting to see as we'd like to keep the numbers down in our community so we can continue to support our local businesses. His overall attitude was disappointing as well. Frustrating because his staff seems to be following all precautions - mask, gloves, etc. If they can wear a mask all night long, why can't he?

Update: The owner came to our table to berate us for my review and tell us that we were never welcome again. Actually could not believe how poorly they handled customer relations.

The Spaghetti Carbonara ($18) actually tasted like potato soup with a splash of bacon fat. It was a super bizarre color as well and that was a precursor for how the meal tasted. Had I not been with friends, I would have spoken up more.

My friend ordered their scallop special and she said that it was also nothing special -- the peas that came with it were undercooked and inedible and the vodka sauce

Good food, good music, service was ultimately helpful and quick, but a man who appeared to be the owner or manager was helpful but very blunt and sarcastic to me, and it spoiled the tone for my dinner.

Horrible. The wrong food was brought to our table twice. Our food was brought to another table, twice. We asked fo onions on the side of our salad, they were in it although a giant plate of onions was delivered to our table long after we had received the salad. We were splitting the salad but it came on one plate unlike the table next to us who received their split salad on two plates. The calamari was chewy and tasteless. I had the heart shaped ravioli which were cute in presentation but the champagne sauce was way too sweet. We asked for more bread but it never came. The cheesecake tasted like

Pavesi Ristorante, formerly Provesi Ristorante, is a solid Italian restaurant in the center of the busy South Street area of Morristown. We sometimes go there before a show at the nearby Mayo Theater as we did one recent Saturday evening. You can make reservations through Open Table which is convenient and it is BYOB. There really is no lot parking so finding a space on the street is challenging or you can go into the town parking garage.

My family has never had a bad meal there and most have been very good. A few years ago, along with the new name, the restaurant changed ownership. In the summer

Food was somewhat tasty and decor is nice, but very small portions. Salmon was a bit plain, small and underwhelming, especially for thirty dollars. See pics. We were still a bit hungry after an app for two and two full entrees. Wife almost never finishes but this time she did easily.
