Services
We love Verdes! The food is fresh, the servers and management are attentive without being too invasive and the ambience is just right. We have had dinner here no fewer than 30 times and it is consistently good. Sat on time and they were very accommodating with a last minute change in the amount of people.

We had dinner reservations at 8 p.m. on New Year's Eve. The restaurant was half full. The food was mediocre at best. Nothing seemed prepared by a chef. Costco food would have been better. Calamari was lukewarm, meatballs were lukewarm too and not the best tasting. It came with stingy ricotta cheese. Penne Vodka was sweet. Never, ever had sweet Penne Vodka. Couldn't eat it. Chicken parm seemed like it was frozen, thawed, and heated. Couldn't have been worse. $12 per cannoli? Could have spent the $250 at a better restaurant. 2 Stars overall. I give the food 4 Stars. I don't give out 5 stars unless a place is exceptional, I think people just give out 5 stars without realizing it makes it difficult to separate the good from the really good/excpetional when doing this (and this place is certainly not exceptional). I am also lowering my rating due to the price and service. I think the place is over priced considering the location. If it were in Hoboken over looking the water, or next to a nice park in Montclair area, that would be different, But this small restaurant, that used to be a diner (I really miss that

Unfortunately my dining experience was disappointing. I came here with a friend fir dinner on a Friday night. The staff was pleasant but the food was substandard. We had a multi course meal: Spiedini all Romano, Frito Misto, Tortellini Carbonara, Pollo Verde and Saltimboca. We were excited to have the Carbonara as the menu states its prepared the tradition Roman way. Unfortunately it was Americanized and made with cream not egg yolks. In addition the pasta was way overcooked and I'm pretty sure it was microwaved. The Spiedini was decent and the frito misto was ok; calamari was good but the shrimp

Ordered on Uber Eats. The way they package the Calamari for delivery orders causes the condensation to affect the crispness of them, so they were soggy when we received them. If they had been crispy it would've made a huge difference. The Clam Pasta was okay. Nothing to brag about but not something I would order again. Overall I give them three out of five stars. The food was okay, but I wouldn't order again. Still, I don't discourage anyone from trying this place out. We all have different palette's.

Amazing Italian in the Morris county area, our go-to for Italian. Haven’t been disappointed in any thing we’ve ordered. All dishes are always cooked to perfection and always tastes so fresh (even though it’s delivery)!
Some of our favorite things:
penne vodka - we add chicken, it’s always a healthy portion. Every time we have it, the first bite is always eye opening delicious.
chicken parm - comes with penne. Sauce, cheese, penne is perfectly portioned
Meatballs - perfectly sized (aka not a single massive meatball

We went here for lunch...was delicious and not crowded. Had the Verde salad with cranberries, apple slices, feta cheese and a yummy honey mustard dressing...with chicken francaise as an entree which came with mashed potatoes and green beans. It all was so good! Prices reasonable. Service excellent! Will def go back.đŸ˜ƒ

Verde catered my daughters sweet 16 party for 80 people this past weeked and Joseph the Owner was a pleasure to work with. He was personable, receptive to my needs and responsive to any questions during the planning process. On the day of the event everything went seamless from delivery, set-up and my guests all complimented how great Italian dishes were and asked who catered!
Even our DJ and his entertainment team who travels to venue's across NJ commented this was some of the best penne vodka, gravy, meatballs, Rigatoni they have had and knew it could not come from the hotel.

This is a one room restaurant with wood floors and no obvious sound absorbers....think noisy .The waitstaff is pleasant and seems to walk at double speed. It is no surprise that your evening dinner is finished in
1.25 hours...which was a negative for us. The menu is printed with some specials recited. The bread basket contains a loaf of very tasty warm, crusty bread and the accompanying EVOO enhances it. Portions are generous.

They were really good. Didn't take any pictures, but they're a busy little Italian spot with good food. The Brandy cream sauce, something I never go for, was awesome. Ordered everything at once and it came out well spaced. Waiter was quick with our BYO. It's a quaint neighborhood kind of place, but their food exceeded my expectations. I don't know if it's a hidden gem type of place, but it's certainly worth going back to.

I had been looking for some good gnocchi and Yelp lead me here! We arrived right when they opened and were greeted by an amazing waiter. To start off I ordered the seafood salad and my friend the Cesar salad. I usually LOVE Italian seafood salad because the mix of citrus and oil blends perfectly with the onions and tomatoes, but this one was super bland and no matter how much salt and pepper I poured it lacked flavor. Things did make a turn for the best during my entrée. I have been visiting Italian restaurants in search of some amazing gnocchi I had while on vacation and I found it here. The

Quite honestly this is probably the worst Italian food I've ever had. We thought this place was going to be good based off the reviews and pictures, but boy were we mistaken. We ordered two simple Italian dishes - penne vodka and shrimp scampi. The penne vodka was soupy, flavorless, and overall just bad. Honestly I could've made it better penne vodka at home with jarred vodka sauce, which is sad. If you're gonna claim you're an Italian restaurant than you better get the damn penne vodka right. The shrimp scampi was just sub par. The only positive was the portions were large

I ordered the short ribs and the penne vodka for delivery. Everything arrived quickly and was still hot. Obviously hard to keep mashed potatoes that came with the beef separate from the meat during delivery, but it was good all mixed together anyway. Highly recommend if you're overdue for a nice hot meal that you don't have to cook.

My girlfriend and I ordered take out from here on Sunday, 4/26. With no other Italian cuisine options open around our area at the time, we stumbled upon Verde Ristorante and it's favorable reviews. We knew we should give this place a shot and we were beyond satisfied after finishing both of our meals!
Pros: Given the times, we ordered delivery through either DoorDash or Grub Hub (sorry I can't remember!) and the food got from the restaurant to our home in Rockaway in just around 45 minutes. Not bad at all!

Quaint restaurant in a renovated house. It's BYOB but if you forget your adult beverages, there's a nearby restaurant/bar that has a to go fridge! Food was delicious and portions were quite large. I so wanted to ask for another basket of that yummy warm bread. As we were about to finish our meal I heard a belch from behind me. I turned thinking it was our waiter (we were the last table to finish up in the restaurant before closing) but it turns out a couple of the waiter's buddies had come in and were hanging out waiting for his shift to end. I'm not opposed to them waiting

The parking lot is small, so they have valet parking, and the restaurant itself is small yet seats about 75 people comfortably.
