UpLift training is a unique group fitness and personal training studio located on the second floor of the Louisville Executive Aviation Hangar at Bowman Field. ULT is designed to build an uplifting community ranging from physical, mental, and spiritual. With a mix of functional and resistance training, ULT group fitness classes or 1:1 personal training is designed to reach any and all goals.
When I first started working with Angie, I came to her because I was tired of feeling heavy and having low energy. My work and my life were keeping me so busy that I had no energy left to fight cravings and find healthy ways to channel stress.
I needed someone else to hold me accountable for showing up and measuring goals, and I needed some manageable ways to make progress without having to give up all of my favorite foods or workout every single day.I've worked with different trainers in the past, and I've tried every "get slim quick" program in the book - from juice cleanses to infomercial videos.

For each exercise, select a weight that will cause you to fail at 10 reps. Do 10 reps right off the bat, then rest until you feel ready to go again. Do as many reps as you can, then rest again. Do this for five minutes, which means you'll have to keep a close eye on the clock or your watch. Once at starting point rest 60 seconds and then begin set 2.
We start with a 90 min initial consultation. This gives us time to sit down and get to know each other better. In this consultation we discuss health history, exercise history, current nutrition habits and set goals. Next is the initial assessment where we gather baseline data- weight, circumference measurements, body fat % and take before pictures.
NuFit is a Small Group Training Class. Our goals are to have intense workouts that help us reach our fitness goals. This class focuses on Group Accountability, Nutrition Coaching, and specially designed aerobic and anarobic training for best results. This class is scheduled to run for two months. An absolute gem of an establishment. Not only is Uplift an unexpectedly beautiful space to get in your physical activity, but the ownership couldn’t be more accommodating. The convenience of accessibility and equipment are unmatched and the safety measures throughout the pandemic have been truly comforting.

I cannot say enough good things about this gym and it's owner, Haley. I am a very big girl and I have a weak back due to several injuries. Haley's background in physical therapy makes her the perfect personal trainer for me. I am also double jointed so she is able to help me make modifications to exercises when I am not feeling it in the muscle group I should. If you want someone that is serious, and more importantly, passionate about her work and her client's health and well-being, you cannot find a better gym or trainer. I am down 50lbs so far and am still going strong thanks to Haley and this

My mom and I have been training at Up Lift for over 2 years now and can’t get enough! We’ve even brought friends and family to join in on the workout fun over the years. As the gyms popularity is growing so are the classes they are offering which is definitely appealing to Mom and I more! We are loving the diversity of the classes they offer and the one on one personal training sessions. The trainers are more like family and we appreciate the genuine support they offer! So much love for this place!!

Wow, I do not even know how to start praising this gym! As a coach in training I have found the team to be very supportive, encouraging, and motivating. This is an uplifting environment for private and semi-private training. As a future coach I know my clients will feel comfortable starting their life changing journey in the hanger. I mean let's be real... how many people can say they work out in an aviation hanger???
