CIGNA - PPO, HMO, POS (If referral is required, the PCP must be contracted with the same IPA as us (PPN) to be seen.
These videos will show you a demonstration of the procedure and give you an understanding of what to expect during the surgery. Please contact us if you have any questions. This video shows the process of removing part of the bunion as well as removing wedges from the toe to reposition the big toe to make it straighter.
It's a cruel twist. Bunions push the big toe against the next toe-crowding the delicate bones in your foot. This constant crowding can cause pain and permanent damage to the joint that supports your entire body weight when you walk. While women who wear high-heels have a greater risk for bunions, the deformity can also develop due to aging, arthritis or a family history.

Felt like I was rushed. Went to get second opinion for foot pain. Didn’t bother to call and get my lab results from prior urgent care provider.
Same diagnosis I got from urgent care except urgent care called back and told me based off lab results from blood work I had no signs of having the prior diagnosis and to seek a second opinion.

These guys 1) Sent me to collections for a $31 missed appointment fee even though I had spoken to the office; and 2) Charged my insurance almost $1500 for custom orthotics (the same kind that Amazon sells for $250) that I never received. Doesn't feel great to be nickle-and-dimed by your doctor's office.

Was able to get an appointment for the next day after calling. Staff are professional but also personable. Dr. Scott Smith is highly interactive- listens and responds in a helpful, respectful, yet easy-going manner. Suggested home care that might prevent a costly surgical procedure, so looking out for the patient’s benefit, not his own.

Was referred to a Dr at this practice by my PCP, by name. Called to make an appointment, asked for earliest possible time, and was given one in a reasonable time. Showed up for appointment, and was seen by a different Dr. I thought, no problem, let's do it. I was seen by that Dr (trimmed some dead skin from a wound, bandaged, and dressed it up and put me in a walking boot) I received what seems like adequate care. At checkout paid my copay for an office visit, and supplies provided. (the boot for foot seemed a little expensive, but assumed that was just how it goes) Now I get a bill for

I've suffered from "hammer-toes" since my childhood, the symptoms caused both by wearing too-small shoes as a growing child and later in life by wearing "fashionable shoes" that had ill-designed toe-boxes. The result was horribly-disfigured toes and pain in everything from walking to working in the yard to simply standing.
My primary care physician referred me to Dr. Scott Smith at Metroplex and I couldn't be happier. Dr. Smith Immediately recognized my issues and recommended a plan of action to correct those problems. I am now pain-free and even comfortable in wearing open-toed sandals in the

To be honest it, it should only have zero stars. Ive been taking my mom and the foot doctor there always forgets everything. And first two times we went they always want to make my mom take x rays. Obviously for money..
They call my father the same day my mom had an appointment and the woman was rude saying where was my mom.. we never missed our appointment but she forgot we were there hours before..
If you want a real specialist try someone else who will remember your file and care about the patient.

I have been in extreme pain for over the past three years. I had a severe case of Planter's Fasciitis that was causing me to stop doing all the things I loved, working out, including lunges, yoga, running, even walking half a mile was causing me incredible pain in my heels and ball of my foot. Dr. DeYoe was the forth specialist I visited, by the time I finally found him, I was exhausted from jumping around to specialist to specialist with a prayer that someone would know what they were talking about. If you've ever been in pain, and had to search for a good doctor who could help, you
