I took my vehicle in to Coconino motors because it would not start. I did not have electrical current from the ignition to the battery. I gave the technicians ample evidence and symptoms to diagnose the vehicle and they did not seem to care. They called me and said the battery and starter were not working properly although both parts were fairly new. The battery could have been charged but they insisted it needed to be replaced. The job cost me over $600 just for it to break down again a week later. I DO NOT recommend this auto shop. They just want to change parts and charge you for changes that

My boyfriend and I brought our 1986 F350xl here to have the rear axle replaced.
Since it's a mom and pop shop located in flagstaff in the middle of Covid, the shop does take a bit longer to get things ordered and delivered.
However, the work they do is worth the wait. ask for Justin the mechanic!! He does great work!!!

These guys are professionals. They've been doing repairs for many years. We took our old truck into them after a couple mechanic shops couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. The found the problem & fixed it within one (1) day. They don't just used diagnostic computers but use real human brain knowledge to do their work quickly.

I was traveling through flagstaff and these guys were recommended for brake repair on my tow vehicle. They were great to work with. They got my truck in that morning without an appointment and had me back on the road by 230. They made sure they consulted me on the parts and put high quality heavy duty rotors and brakea on. Completely satisfied with the work and their committment to quality.parts and repair

Went to three places in Flagstaff for A/C service, and other places back logged, or had trouble giving me an estimate. However, I had service here years back on another vehicle, and was still in computer system. Provided a quote, and diagnosed problem, and finished job in half a day. A/C on truck running "cool," during heat wave, that looks like may never get better. Kept up dated periodically during service. Excellent service crew and main desk. Never failed me in time of automotive repair needs. Quality parts, too.

I was recommended to Coconino motors because I needed an alignment for my vehicle. I hit a curb on the front passenger side and had a wobbly car! Coconino motors was super nice, answered my questions over the phone and I dropped my car off for service. When I receive my car back my steering wheel was still pulling to the right.I called back to Coconino motors and took my car back in. They rotated the front two tires and fixed the problem. They have a very friendly staff and made it extremely easy to work with them.

I was passing through Flagstaff on my way back to Northern California when my car started emitting a loud screeching sound...not what you want to hear when you still have hundreds of miles of driving left that afternoon. I called up Coconino and they were able to squeeze me in for an immediate appointment - and 30 minutes later, the problem was solved and I was back on the road. Really appreciate their promptness and helpfulness!

I stopped at Coconino Motors at the suggestion of Discount Tires. I had a noise coming from my brakes and they thought Coconino Motors would help. And they did! Pat was very helpful in getting my car in quickly - although they were very busy - and analyzing and repairing my brakes. They did a great job and were very friendly. Others in the service business could follow their example.

Dishonest people. I was helped my Pat only to find that the repairs they told me I needed had been done the year prior. I inspected it again as i was about to change it myself (looked fine) but was again assured by Pat that i wouldn't be able to tell with basic tools. I then brought it back to the other place I had it repaired last year and the part was still in brand new condition, no need to be replaced or to hand them over 500$. They give a bad name to car mechanics.

The convenience of this shop is that it is right down the street from my house, I could push my car if I wanted to. The staff is really friendly but I seriously feel this place is overpriced. I would rather go to Rick, who is the head of Toyota mechanics, he does a quick and phenomenal job and explains to you what he is doing. He is also WAY affordable. When I got some work done on my car the dealership quoted me $600, Coconino Motor's $450 and Rick did it for $150 and he did it in under an hour and used the dealership parts for my car, not generic parts. If anyone is looking for a great job
