Monte Scarlatto Estate Winery
MonteScarlatto Estate Winery and Vineyards are located in The Red Mountain AVA in Washington State. This area is known for one of the most extraordinary terroirs in the country, producing wines famous for their balance and rich berry flavors. Our entire production from vine to bottle takes place right here on our Red Mountain estate.

Varietals include Barbera, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Carmenere, Merlot, Malbec, Petit Verdot, and Syrah. We invite you to visit our winery and vineyard in transcendent desert beauty, play a few holes of golf on our 9 hole, par 3 golf course, enjoy the 10th Hole Tasting Room, and be a part of our wine club.
Services
In 2007, MonteScarlatto Estate Winery was founded on the belief that wine is a food group. Abandoning traditional career and lifestyle, founder, Joel Mackey set out on a blazing trail to reinvent his norm. Every aspect of the grape growing, wine making, and bottling business now courses through his veins.
We invite you to join MonteScarlatto Estate Winery's wine club and become a part of our special community. Our Country Club members enjoy specially selected wines from our best vintages, as well as advance news and information on upcoming releases, winery events and activities. It's an easy and fun way to try new and exciting wines and build your collection of great Washington wines.

Montescarlatto is a hidden gem amongst the many other amazing wineries in the Tri-City area. Went there for a birthday party, and someone hit a hole-in-one!

Nice boutique vineyard/winery with very good wine. Owners are pleasant and easy to talk with, Joel is full of knowledge and is willing to share his experience and history. This is our second Harvest Host experience and we think the camping is the best so far with water and grey water hookups.

Bob who helped us was so cool, he was knowledgeable about not just the wine, but also different vineyards and the way the climate affects the wine. Its a beautiful place and would highly recommend going there.

Just opened up a bottle of "10th Hole Red" we bought a year ago when we visited the Northwest. Terrific! Enjoyed the experience at the winery too.

What a great place! The owners are friendly and made us feel welcome in their home. Great wines too - you'll have to search far and wide to find someone who maintains vintages in barrels for years and years like they do! Amazing 2014 cab!

Stumbled onto this winery purely by accident. Only wine tasting we could find open for business. We were the only ones there. The hostess was awesome and the wines were amazing. This is a true small business where the winemaker grows his own grapes. He uses only his grapes to make his wines. Great experience.

Lots of great wines and yummy food too. We tried one of the flatbreads which totally hit the spot. I enjoyed all of the wines, as well. Definitely will stop again next time we're in town.

Would really like to see this place succeed. Wine was quality and nice decor. Maddy was very friendly and knowledgeable on the wines. They do however, need to work on the operations and management. Great concept, but with very limited staffing you'd be hard pressed to have a positive experience if there were more than 8 people, seated anywhere but the bar, and if anyone ordered food.

I think the staff is my favorite part of this new little spot. Awesome wine selection and wine wall. I want the wine wall in my house seriously. The flat breads were awesome and paired well with the wine we got - tastings are great and the owner was right there pouring with her staff on a Saturday afternoon - loved that, Love the decor and all the vibes.

Yesterday my wife and I stopped by Monte Scarlatto and very glad I did. It's a wonderful little winery with a 9 hole golf course. It's a great laid back mom and pop place at the edge of their own vineyard. They have lots of great tastes if you want to find some wines a bit unusual Red Mountain inspired flavors.
We will be sure to be back soon.
