Keever Vineyards
Keever Vineyards is nestled in the western hills south of Yountville, in the Napa Valley. We are a small, family-owned and operated winery producing exquisite wines with our extremely talented winemaker, Celia Welch. We feel our rocky, hillside vineyards are very special; which doesn't make us unique in the grape growing business because we all love our dirt!

Our loamy, well-drained soils, full of rocks, deliver some of the finest grapes in the region. Visit Keever Vineyards and Winery to experience fine wine and great hospitality! The wine business at Keever Vineyards is truly a family affair. What originally started as a retirement plan to plant vines, grow grapes, and sell fruit slowly evolved into what the family best describes as progressive insanity.
Services
Bill took a huge cut in pay when he left the business world in order to work for lunch money and wine. He traded in his suits for jeans and cellar boots and works alongside his wife, son and daughter in a business the family created from scratch. He's not looking back. Napa was not unknown to Bill.
Enjoy six amazing bottles of Keever wines, specifically selected to compliment your Holiday gatherings: Two each of the 2018 Merlot, 2017 Inspirado, and 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon! What could make that any yummier? Add to your cart to see your special price. The 2017 Keever Cabernet Sauvignon shows abundant aromatic intensity with perhaps just a touch more concentrated ripe red cherry fruit due to the warm August.
Keever Vineyards is a small family owned and operated winery in Yountville, in the Napa Valley. And when we say family owned and operated, we mean it. On any given day there are between two and four Keevers on site. During fruit processing we get aunts and uncles in too. Despite recently turning 70, Dad - Bill Keever - drags barrels out of the cave, works with our vineyard manager, and drives the forklift.
When we make wine at Keever Vineyards, we attempt to showcase the best flavors of each vineyard block and blend them into a seamless, elegant representation of that year. The journey from berry to wine begins in the vineyard. Picking by taste, not numbers: Our Winemaker, Celia Welch, determines when the grapes will be harvested based on flavor development, not laboratory numbers.
Nestled into the Pop-Ups of the Mayacamas mountain range: Keever Vineyards is perched in the hills just southwest of the town of Yountville. We jokingly refer to ourselves as a stealth winery. The entire parcel is 21 acres of mostly rocky hillside. We have a small winery, cave and about six and a half acres planted to vines.

Since 2015, Keever has always been my favorite stop while wine tasting. They are a small, family owned winery in the foothills of the Mayacama mountains, and only about a 10 minute drive from downtown Yountville. When you taste there, you and your group are the only people on the property and the Keevers treat you like family. If you can get a tasting with Ashley - I highly suggest it! She is the daughter of the owners and gives a fabulous tour, catering to whatever level of wine knowledge your group is at. Their wines are to die for and the view overlooking Yountville and the valley is incredible

Plan ahead, make an appointment, and enjoy one of the best tastings you'll have in the Napa Valley. You know the Keever family makes great wines but the tour is also worth it. Ashley Keever took us through their process and showed us how much care and diligence they they take in making their wine special.

An actual family run winery located up the hillside looking down on Yountville. We were greeted by Ashley, the daughter of the family who led our tour. She was very knowledgeable about the wine making process and answered all of our questions. The view is spectacular, they have a nice cave and the wines are very good and fair for the price. If you're looking for a nice Napa Cab and want a boutique non corporate tasting room definitely make an appointment at Keever.

Best find of 2018! Our group was so happy to have found ourselves fortunate enough to enjoy wines from this vineyard. Ashley made for a memorable tasting as she was extremely personable and warm. The wines were all delicious and we happily ordered wines to be shipped back home. This should be a must visit for anyone considering this winery. We are beyond fans and will be back.

Elegant, nuanced cabernet by a famous woman winemaker *yay* paired with incredible service in a beautiful atmosphere. It's the little touches (along with the fabulous cabernet) that make this place great. Keep it up!

My wife and I had a lovely time at the Keever Vineyards wine tour. It's a beautiful property with great views across Napa. Ms. Keever (unfortunately her first name escapes me but she is the daughter of the founders and absolutely lovely) gave us the history of their vineyard and a very informative tour of their property. A fantastic small production winery. We spent the day touring and were really impressed by all the winery's that were on our tour that was arranged by the concierge at the Auberge, however, the Keever was my favorite!

Definitely the best wine tasting experience ever. First class all the way from making the reservation to the tour and tasting. We had a reservation for five of us and showed up at the beautiful property with a private tour with Mrs. Keever. Five glasses of Sauvignon blanc with our name printed next to each on today's tasting menu. We had a wonderful tour of the facility and the cave while enjoying the refreshing and delicious first tasting. The second round started in the upper level of the visitor building. Generous pour of Keevers red blend, Inspirado with cheese, almond roca and crackers

It is our first time here, and it was recommended to us. Since we never heard of it we were a little hesitant to weather we should go there or not. But are happy that we did. Great wine and a such great service.

This is a hidden little gem in Napa. Spectacular view and very nice property. Liz was wonderful to chat with and very informative. She was awesome! Wouldn't have known about his property unless Heradio had told us about it (thanks!). The Sav Blac and Inspirado were very tasty. We will definitely be back with friends soon!

A terrific experience and 'insiders' view of a family-focused winery and vineyards.

By appointment, so make one!

The views alone are fabulous and you almost don't want to leave the veranda to go inside, but it is just as great.

Wonderful helpful staff who know their wines and the Valley. Nice tour and a terrific set up unlike many other vineyards and wineries.

Their wines are really delightful! My personal favorite, Merlot, was my favorite, but all their wines were very special!

This will be one of the vineyards I return to with my family members when we come back out

We just received our first shipment from the wine club. These winds are very high-end and the taste of these wines are incredible. Our wine host was the daughter of the owner and she was extremely sweet and caring and very down-to-earth. We also met the owner's son in the caves when he was topping off the barrels. We immediately felt that this was a private family winery where the family took incredible pride in the quality of the wines they make. We look forward to going back one day and visit you again.

Very small and private family winery. It's run by half a dozen people and it's tastings are by appointment only. With that being said, their hours of operation can be a bit tricky. They have outstanding Cabernet Sauvignons. Our hostess took us on a tour of the grounds; we got to see the room where the grapes are handled as well as the wine cave.

Keever Vineyards owners hosted a chamber music concert (Music in the Vineyards) yesterday...the concert was in their caves and the acoustics were amazing. Keever wines were served at intermission and they were lovely wines. Everyone was very hospitable. I would definitely return with guests to enjoy more of their wines and the lovely view.

Itty bitty family winery with really nice cab. Worth a visit if you are a cab person. The tasting experience was of course private/intimate, the tour was the relatively standard private/small producer tour, but I really enjoyed the explanation of their wine making process. They do some phases of the wine making a little more meticulously and a little more old fashioned than other producers, and it was fun to see the equipment and hear how it all fits together.

Called ahead a couple weeks ago, came across the winery in Wine Spectator heard great things about the Cabernets. We drove into their hill side private property and were greeted by the daughter of the owners. It was such a great experience right from the start! She poured the estate Sauvignon Blanc, which has about 50% oak (for about 6 months) and a single vineyard Syrah from Oak Knoll district, both delish! After that she gave us a great tour of the facility and talked about the gravity flow facility. The wine poured were all seriously well made and the EXPERIENCE, the property and talking

The Keefer Vineyard appointment was arranged by a friend and we were just following him. Olga Keever, the matron/owner of the winery was our tour guide. I have been on tours before but I learned a lot on this one. She was knowledgeable and informative. I learned that a grape seed must be brown to be ready to be picked -- ours were green although absolutely delicious and meant they had about a week to go. Naturally the wine was deelish and I bought 4 bottles! For me that is a lot.

Go there and enjoy the people and the tour.

Take the time to make an appointment and visit this hidden gem! We wound our way up the hill through two security gates and pulled into what looked like someone's home. We were greeted with the most beautifully fragrant in-bloom roses under a gorgeous pergola. Magnificent views were everywhere. It was so beautiful I didn't really want to go inside.

Inside, however, there were treats in-store. The wine was great. The interior was cool and comfortable with leather club chairs. Again, it felt like someone's home - almost like the family's lab was waiting just around the

This beautiful vineyard sits on the side of a hill and overlooks the beautiful Napa valley. Ashley, the Keever's daughter, was so sweet to walk us through the whole process and provide us with a private tour of the winery. The facility is gorgeous, the wine divine and the cave tour was a lot of fun. Would love to visit again!
