Kaos Pizzeria
It is with great remorse and sorrow for us to inform you that we are grieving the tragic and sudden loss of our dearest creator, founder, leader, family member, and friend Patrick Mangold-White. He will be deeply missed by all. Patrick was a wonderful and cherished person in the community. For those wishing to show their support, a bereavement fund to help cover funeral costs has been set up for his family.

Our patio is so impressive it's won awards, regularly making "Denver's Best Restaurant Patio" lists. Lots of space, family friendly, relaxed atmosphere. After opening two other restaurants in the neighborhood we live and work in, we realized our community needed a great pizza place, so we. Wood fired true Southern Italian Naples style traditional pizzas, appetizers, hand-made pasta, fresh sandwiches, desserts, craft beers, extensive wine.
Services
We opened in 2009 after months searching for the perfect location, and spent 3 months converting the guest house into our pizzeria kitchen, home to our 10,000lb wood burning oven imported from Italy. Our 100 year-old brick cottage is adjacent to a garden patio which regularly makes the "Denver's Best" list, and has become an oasis for folks to gather and enjoy life with a truly unique experience.
Our vegetables, lettuces, savory herbs, free-range poultry, eggs, heirloom pork, grass-fed lamb and beef are all supplied by local farmers we know. We import Caputo Flour from a fourth-generation family farm located right east of Naples on the plains north of the Vesuvius volcano. It's traditionally used in Italy for specific qualities in high temperature wood-fire cooking.
Award winning food, fresh ingredients locally sourced from our farm and ranchers, Kaos Pizzeria is dedicated to Colorado owned and operated suppliers. We use local farms, ranches, and cheese producers wherever possible. Great food takes time, especially during peak hours. Some menu items may require a 5-10 minute longer cook time, where noted.
In addition to Kaos Pizzeria, Patrick Mangold-White also owns three other thriving Denver restaurants. Classic American comfort food with a modern twist. Delicious veggie + vegan options. Local craft beers, creative cocktails, full bar. Where else can you eat pizzas AND tacos? Situated in local landmark building "John's Garage" with huge rollup doors, full indoor/outdoor bar and spacious patio.
Riley has been working for owner Patrick for over six years, enjoying every position from washing dishes to making margaritas, and learning everything about wine. Away from work Riley enjoys kicking back with a bottle of ros, a canine companion, and a backgammon board to pass the time. Preferably on a patio, regardless of the season.

Cute old house turned restaurant. Tuck into a room of the house or enjoy the beautiful patio. The charcuterie board is amazing!! Can't wait to come back and try more tasty bites.

Amazing pizza place. Loved the vibe here when sitting out back with the heat lamps. The margherita pizza is fantastic. It has the right texture and the right amount of toppings. It is also a great size to share for two people (or one really hungry person). The bruschetta is also excellent. Loved the variety of tomatoes that it comes with. I would definitely come visit this place again!

Where to begin? Kaos is the best! We moved to the area recently and it's our favorite place in South Denver. Best happy hour! Amazing pizza! Great service, the staff are so kind. We come here at least once a week!

The beer selection is great. Mushroom pizza is great. So are the breadsticks and the meat balls and beet salad. Their patio is lovely and perfect for both intimate as well as larger groups. Thank you Kaos!

Great place for good pizza! There is street parking available - we went mid day and had no trouble finding parking less than a block away. There is plenty of indoor and heated outdoor seating! The speciality pizzas can be made half and half which is what we did and a great way to try two different types - only catch is that the base had to be the same. I loved the jalapeño business - the cream cheese adds so much favor to the pizza! We will definitely be back!

I was once again surprised on how much I enjoyed the pizza, we came here for a late lunch bday party. The party was mainly vegan/vegetarian/ gluten free, and this place was perfect! They were so many options and so many pizzas with interesting twists. I got the wild mushroom pizza gluten free. I loved the gluten free crest here as it is chewy probably made from rice flour. The pizza had Caramelized onions and pesto and the base sauce. I absolutely loved this pizza. They give you a generous amount of toppings and it tastes good. I want try their Hawaiian pizza next time and they use pulled pork

I ordered a margarita pizza to-go and when I opened the box there was a BUNCH of dry, long, grated parmesan (?) cheese thrown on top of it... why in the world would you ruin my pizza in a way that I didn't ask for? I'm not interested in whatever the person handing me the box thinks pizza should be topped with - that's the cook's job. Don't ruin what they already made well. I love margarita pizzas and usually go elsewhere, but thought I'd give this place a try. Needless to say, I'll be sticking to my usual spots that never fail me. Sheesh. It could've at least been fresh parmesan. This is the saddest

The pizza combined with the beautiful outside ambiance made my visit to Kaos Pizzeria a wonderful experience. We went during happy hour which was extremely limited and only applied to a few drafts and wines. Between the four of us, we ordered two 14" pizzas and only had one slice leftover. The Smokestack was delicious and perfectly savory with the roasted poblanos, savory bacon, and creamy goat cheese. Adding some red pepper flakes and Parmesan set this pizza over the top! The Calabrese was also really good. It was the perfect combination of sweet and savory, from the caramelized onions and

This was the cutest little pizza shop! We loved the outdoor patio dining! With a variety of tables scattered throughout, it was easy to enjoy sitting outside without feeling crowded by other diners. The pizza was delicious too! The service was fast and friendly. We would definitely recommend to anyone in the area!

We popped in to Kaos pizza for takeout yesterday after wanting to go for a long time. I've been to Their other restaurants (Bird, Mas Kaos and Uno Mas) and enjoyed them all. We had a mixed experience yesterday though.

Upon walking in the staff was pretty unwelcoming and cold. As we said we were picking up food they sent us inside and we received the same sort of greeting from the staff inside. The vibe they gave off made me never want to come and eat - in. Nonetheless we picked up our food without conflict and headed home.

We ordered three things - the wild mushroom pizza, the vodka pasta

A great patio, solid pizza, and friendly service is what you get at Kaos (chaos, not cow's). While there is better pizza in Denver, there are few more laid back outdoor patios that are pretty much built for Summer. Instead of your perfectly laid out, commercial patios, Kao's patio kind of feels like your rich, granola, slightly eccentric friend's backyard in Cherry Creek or Santa Monica.

We got the Smokestack and Wild Mushroom pizzas here (Smokestack was my preference), both of which were really good and had that wood oven char that you go to a place like this for. The pizzas here

Kaos Pizza serves amazing gluten-free pizza that comes out of the over pipping hot! I have never had a bad experience at Kaos and always recommend it to people visiting the University of Denver.

We stumbled upon the patio the other night for happy hour and what a treat! The beer was cold and the pizza was delicious! The crust was crispy, saucy was just sweet enough and the toppings were bomb! We are already planning on coming back to enjoy happy hour again this weekend!

Awesome, fun patio with delicious pizzas and a great beer selection. The quality ingredients, wood fired traditional Italian pizzas, and impressive patio makes this spot so fun to hangout at. My favorite pizza is the Smokestack- the fire roasted poblano peppers are exactly what defines an amazing pizza, the bacon is high quality and cooked to perfection to give it that savory satisfaction, the creamy, earthy, soft goat cheese takes you to another dimension of deliciousness. Casual, chill atmosphere and the staff here is always friendly and attentive.

Easily the worst pizza I've ever had in Denver and I've lived here all 30 years of my life. The pizza was literally inedible. I would liken it to eating saltine crackers. Dry, overcooked, yet still cold, and stale. Just a overall horrible experience after waiting over an hour for dinner to arrive. I would have been better off microwaving a hotdog for dinner. Save your money.

Never had something we didn't like. We have been coming here for years and it never disappoints. They have plenty of seating and the staff is friendly. I love that they have options that are unique and allergy friendly. My dad is very picky and he wound up eating his entire pizza. I highly recommend even if it is just takeout!

Probably my new favorite "pizza" place. I put that in quotes because it's not a typical pizza place. Delicious, gourmet versions of pizza, fantastic apps, great pasta dishes, and awesome wine. They use "fresh ingredients locally sourced from our farm and ranchers... dedicated to Colorado owned and operated suppliers."

Must haves:
1) burrata platter: absolutely worth the price, because it's an enormous DIY platter with soft burrata in the middle, with two types of meat, surrounded by veggies like cucumber, olives, roasted peppers, roasted beets, and much more -- plus

Came here with my friend for a quick dinner. We sat outside on the patio (socially distanced) and had a great time. It's a very casual trendy atmosphere with lots of outdoor and indoor seating. They have a wide selection of salad, pizza, pasta and beer and wine.

I ordered the Watermelon Salad which was HUGE and AMAZING!!! My friend ordered the Beet Salad and the Meatball Appetizer. She loved the beet salad! The meatballs were a little dried out, but also super sized and with fresh basil. For my main meal I ordered the Mac N Cheese, which was super cheesy and creamy.

I'll definitely

This was voted as having the BEST Patio in Denver. I agree. It is kinda magical. We sat next to a vine that climbed the trunk of a tree. It served as a canopy. The scattered tables and chairs were so cute. Yeah, the cute factor here was high.

The food is great. I hAD THE FOLLOWING:

Appetizers
1. Meatballs
2. Prosciutto on Crostini

Entree:
1. Oven baked Linguini and Clams
2. Smoked Stacked Pizza.

Drinks
1. Blood Orange (Hard Cider)
2. Latino-Cava Brut ( Bubbly)

I'm a big fan of both their appetizers. Likewise with both entrees. Their patio is on a first come, first served basis. What

Love their outdoor setup, right now the side way through to the back has Christmas trees for sell, it's quite magical to walk through.
Our poor server was doing 10929 things at once, but still managed to take very good care of us and everyone else.
Pretty good beer selection.
Although none of us tried the pizza we could hear the table next to us raving about the one with potatoes lol
The cheese plate was very good and affordable!
I went for one of their sandwiches since it was still available until 4. The meatball sub was just how I expect a meatball sub to be, loved the addition of fresh
