That's where you deliver, you're strong, and, though you hate to admit it, sometimes you'd rather be working than dealing with the B.S. at home. Your work provides a good life, even if you never hear a "thank you." But your A-game has fallen off. You've been silenced by things you don't want to talk about: lost confidence, problems you can't sort out, people you wish you could avoid.

The first step is to recognize that things have gone wrong, at work and at home. And what you're doing isn't working anymore. Your next step is to talk with a business-savvy counselor who is practical and results-oriented. Think of it as half-time during a crucial game. Figure out what's not working, adjust to what will.
Services
If you can be honest and consistent, there's no end to the change you can see from this private, evidence-backed process. Thoughts change. It gets easier to be happy. You may have doubts about therapy, but fears get challenged and anxious habits are re-wired. After a few visits with Mrs. Donovan, I began to sense a safe and non-judgmental atmosphere.
You feel stomach pains and your back is tight, you have headaches, feel cold or nauseated. You grind your teeth and don't get enough sleep. Are these symptoms physical or mental? Are you supposed to push on and let action drive away indecision? Or will unplugging and relaxing stop the feelings of panic?
Every man has his secret sorrows which the world knows not; and often times we call a man cold when he is only sad. Your thoughts have become more negative and you wonder if you are heading toward depression. Not only do you predict that bad things will happen, you remember the bad things that already did.
What happened to the fun and happiness that comes with finding someone to spend the rest of your life with? When you first began, you had a reputation as a couple who deeply loved and respected one another. Life got busy and you might not have noticed the changes. Over the past year and a half, you've even felt concern for single friends because you have a lifelong partner.
Just because you have this thought, doesn't mean you have to go to rehab. But it might mean you need to stop and look at whether drinking is an automatic when it doesn't have to be. You don't have to be obese to feel the ill effects of bad eating habits. Irritable mood, low energy and lack of mental sharpness are three biggies (no pun intended!).

I referred a close friend who was struggling with anxiety due to a high-stress work environment. Jana (aka Work Stress Guru) has practical work experience in a large multi-national company, so she knows that environment well. She weaves that experience with her clinical training to offer excellent counseling. My friend has seen improved mental and physical health, and I highly recommend the Work Stress Guru!

Janna and I met through a mom’s prayer group at our kids school. As time went on we became friends. Then eventually my life circumstances took such a turn that I needed to see her professionally. I have never felt such a feeling of relief that I could share my burdens with her knowing that I would get “fresh eyes” as well as just good old “horse sense” to address my problems.
Janna is very friendly and puts you at ease. Over the course of the years I have bounced around to counselors trying to connect to someone. I love that Janna has a strong opinion and is not wishy washy with her

Janna is a seasoned professional and an excellent listener. I have learned so much from her guidance and support as a fellow professional in business. I am currently working with Janna on some common mutual pursuits we have and she is awesome. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to find meaning and balance in their hectic lives whether you are stuck on where to begin or are in need of some sound advise, positive reinforcement and direction.

Janna is a dear and wise friend. She gives excellent, well thought out advice and is a careful listener. When you speak to her she takes care to truly understand what you are saying. I would recommend her services to anyone I know who wants some more insight on how to deal with what might be going on in their head or their heart.

Janna Donavan’s reassurance and confidence in me pushes me to move forward every day. She has gotten me out of my darkest days and helped me when I thought I was helpless. She finds a way that works for you according to the whole self, creates a thorough plan, and listens to whatever you have to say without dismissing anything. Even just hearing her voice makes me feel like im safe. I would recommend Janna to anyone that feels any uncertainty or if you have tried other therapist and they weren’t the one for you.

For anyone that has ever been challenged personally or professionally with anxiety, I highly recommend an initial consultation with Janna. I work in the high stress demanding industry of sales and Janna has helped me understand my strengths, acknowledge my insecurities, and embrace what truly makes me happy at home and work. By understanding these underlying stressors, I have had less frequent panic attacks, lowered my blood pressure, and taken the leap on a new journey with my career where I feel more in control versus doing only what I am told or expected to accomplish from others perspective
