While times have changed from those early years of the horse drawn hearse and funerals in the family home, the Adams family continues a long tradition of loving care and service to families in their time of need. After graduation from Jones County High School, he enlisted in the US Army. After completion of his military service at Hunter Army Airfield, he decided to make Savannah, GA his home.
E. Bruce Adams, the son of the late Mrs. Eunice Adams and John Wesley Adams, is a native of Atlanta, Georgia. He received his elementary and secondary education in the public school system of Detroit, Michigan in 1971. Following the tradition of the men in his family, upon graduation from Henry Ford High School in Detroit, he moved south and matriculated at Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia.

My grandson was killed. I was and am in a very dark place. When i called, Amari answered the phone. There was nothing but kindness, sympathy, and even some pain in his voice. My grandson was only 2. Amari and his father were my support, my rocks. They go above and beyond to make you feel like family, they help you through the process. Leroy Pollen for the exemplary service you provided to our family in the celebration of life for our sister, Jeannette Richardson Thomas. It is easy as a funeral director to criticize another colleague about details that you think should have been handled. In this case I, neither my family have any criticisms; only praise and gratitude. This staff is purposely trained to give careful attention to details and their attitudes, and professionalism exceed the norms.

Gratitude and indebtedness are not strong enough words for the services they provided at the passing of my father. From the arrangements to the preparation of the body to the service, they are truly wonderful. Even the drivers and the director were warm, kind and professional. Adams Funeral Services, Inc of Savannah, Georgia recently handled the final services for our mother, Marie E. Smalls. They did a phenomenal job. They were very compassionate, caring and exceeded our expectations. The funeral director, Amari Adams was so professional, courteous and efficient that he was a great comfort to our family during this most difficult time. A very professional staff and operation. We were dealing with Amari who did everything to help the family with the process, coming to there house and helped with the planning and after at the service he remember everyones names.
The deceased was from NY, and lived in Savannah. There was a service in NY the week before the service in Savannah. There was a customized blanket at the NY service and none of the family knew where it came from.

I had a wonderful across the state lines experience. Adams was very responsive and ensured that my loved one was smoothly transported from Florida. They were professional from the beginning to the end and made me feel extremely comfortable through the process. Omari the funeral director did an awesome job. Mr. Bruce the owner was impeccable. I was a truly impress by how my Grandmother Mrs.Bacon had looked at her viewing and her Funeral . She looked beautiful as always and , While we were getting everything arranged ; Mr.Pollen and Mr.Adams were very professional and made sure we understood everything clearly. At First, I was bit nervous because my grandmother had been sick for so long but she looked, just like her old self just sleeping with a smile on her face I could not do anything but cry , Thank so much and be blessed Adams family.
