Your spacious one-bedroom home is designed to make life easier. By bringing your own cherished furnishings you will be able to make the apartment unique to your style. Each apartment is neutrally colored to complement any decor. Additional features of your new apartment include: a mini refrigerator with freezer drawer, microwave oven, and secure lockable drawer.

By far the best assisted living facility in okc! I feel like the residents here are well attended to and the staff is very friendly and helpful. All of the residents I've met seem very happy here. They have many activities and opportunities to go out and shop or even enjoy the sites of okc. I travel to multiple facilities and this has to be my favorite so far.

Moved my friend in here about 2 years ago and he loves it! I am his POA and he has no family. I love VAO and know I can trust them to take good care of him. The staff is courteous, compassionate, and attentive both to the residents and visitors. They take special care to isolate, treat, and prevent pests and contagious diseases. Maintenance and nursing care are top-notch. He gets three meals a day where he can choose from a menu like a restaurant. They clean his apartment and administer his meds.

This is the most enjoyable environment to work in. The Staff is very cohesive and has longevity here. We are privately owned. Our residents have told us time and time again how thankful they are for our community. If placing a family member here was an option, I'd do it a million times!

Please disregard the 1 star reviews who do not provide any reasoning behind their rating. Village at Oakwood has been absolutely amazing for my grandpa in law. Everyone knows him by name, staff and residents alike. He absolutely loves it there. He is treated like family and with great love and respect. I would recommended village at oakwood to everyone.

I didn't know why those 2 people gave it a 1 star?? This place is amazing!! The staff goes above & beyond for their residents! They know everyone by name & have spent time getting to know them on a personal level. On top of the great service this place is the ONLY assisted lives in the state of Oklahoma that excepts Medicaid! Now an assisted living isn't only for the rich. The building is ALWAYS clean and has a great restaurant inside for the residents and anyone that comes to visit. I highly recommend this place!!
