I'm sorry that I have to say that Westside is not the best place to go unless Medicare is paying for your equipment. They rent out used equipment and if you want to buy a new one you can apply your rental fee for another new one. I rented and returned a lift chair and rented and purchased an ice machine but the ice machine fuse went out. Westside said they don't repair it and told me to call the company that made it The company said the machine was so old that they don't sell them anymore but they would repair the fuse and return it to me free of charge. I received it back saying that they did

I wanted to share our wonderful experience working with Westside Medical Supply and specifically the experience working with Micah Thaxton.
Micah went above and beyond working with us over the past several months. Micah helped us rent a scooter for my wife who has mobility issues due to a medical condition. He was very helpful with this, but even more so when we realized we wanted to purchase one of our own.
Micah took the time going over different models. We wanted something portable as we travel often for our son's sports tournaments and fields can be quite far from one game to the next.

Waited over 3 months for a part for my wheelchair. Called numerous times always had an excuse. I thought well maybe because of covid they were having difficulty getting parts, but no, I went online and bought the same part and it was here within 3 days of purchase. I paid $56 for the part. West Side was going to charge me $600 for this repair. Note: it was a simple bolt that took less than 10 minutes to put on. RIPOFF ARTISTS TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE DISABLED

UPDATE 9-14-21. I would like to send a big thanks out to Melissa and Westside Medical Supply Store. Melissa was of great help to me. When the wheel on my Walker broke she did everything she could to assist me and help me including giving me great advice! Thank you Melissa and Westside medical staff. You guys are really sweet! In 2018, John and emad were great! They fixed every capacity of my walker! Praise the Lord. I have to treat those guys to a pizza for great service

He's the best! knows the measurement and technical side of the equipment, but his customer service is ABSOLUTELY what stands out about him! Treated my mom w utmost respect, delivered on time , helped w paperwork, and put me at ease. I highly recommend the store and Micah. Thanks !!

The best place west of Rochester to get ANY medical supplies. They have it all! From the littlest helpful gadgets - diabetic socks, shoe horns, back washers- to the largest- hospital beds, paraplegic chairs, lift chairs, scooters, etc.
I found many handy tools for daily needs, a lot of info pamphlets & very helpful staff.

Westside sent a representative on time to our installation appointment in our home. We are very pleased with the equipment (stair/chair lift), and the representative that installed it. He showed us how to use it, and had us sit on it and operate it. Thank You, Westside Medical Supply!

I have gone to Westside Medical Supply in the past to get a scooter. Each time the representatives are so helpful and pay close attention to your needs as a person and show so much compassion. The chair I purchased is a Goldentech chair. As you can see in the photos is reclines to the point where it is like laying down in bed. It is awesome!

This was our second experience with Westside. We purchased a platform stair lift. Kevin helped us in selecting a unit that filled my needs, allowing normal pedestrian access to the stairs, minimal interference to the existing building structure and ease of operation so I can get up and downstairs by myself. (our previous chair lift required assistance by another person.) Installation took one day,. The techs. were friendly and knew their stuff.

I've dealt with Westside medical multiple times always pleasant to deal with. They exceed my expectations every time. I've purchased everything from a Bruno lift, scooter and other various items from them. Micah and Kevin have that incredibly helpful multiple times I've also used Westside medical for routine service on my lift to ensure it's kept in great working order. Again I really would like to commend Micah for all his help several times with my scooter purchase he's incredibly informative and knowledgeable on the product and what they can do. They can also do modifications where necessary

Recently had a Bruno stair life installed for my mother. Jeff came to the house to confirm the lift would work with our stairs. He was timely and very professional/knoweldgeable about the lift and easily answered any questions I add. The lift was installed two days after the order and we couldn't be happier with it. I thought I had an issue with it the next day, called service and they were ready to deploy the installer asap to resolve. Luckily it was my own user error but it was nice to know how quickly they were ready to respond. Definitely recommend Westside as am very pleased with the service

My dad and I special ordered a lift chair for my mom just a couple of weeks ago. We were told it would be 4 to 5 weeks for delivery. We were called last week and told the delivery date would be September 29. A lot longer than had been anticipated but it's a pandemic what can we do? They were the only place where we could actually go to the showroom and look at the chairs. The staff was really helpful and nice. They were short staffed the day we got there and we only had to wait a little bit. I think we worked with an employee name Jessica??? It was just a really easy and smooth process.

Horrible customer service. They're willing to bend over backwards as long as youre purchasing, but as soon as they're paid you're nothing. My mother passed away within a few weeks of the purchase of a very expensive power wheelchair before she even had a chance to use it. The owner would not even speak to me after I left several requests for a callback. He refused to accept the return, even when I offered to take less for it. The tags were still on it. It was BRAND NEW. He never called me back, only flatly refused through another employee. Very uncaring and highly unprofessional

The people here are nice, but their system sucks. I rented a wheelchair for a vacation to New York City. When I got there I discovered the chair had no foot rests! We tied a rope to the chair to use like a sling... it didn't work very well, but I was stuck. We were without the use of the chair and very limited in what we could do on our vacation. When I returned the chair I got an "I'm sorry" but no refund offer. Very poor customer service. Next time I'll use another company.
