For over 80 years the Metropolitan Services Credit Union has been serving Metropolitan Council Wastewater employees and families. As a not-for-profit financial institution, MSCU offers competitive rates and fewer fees than most banks. As a member-owned credit union, the first step in opening an account is to open a Share Savings Account with a $5.00 deposit.
As a not-for-profit credit union, Metropolitan Services Credit Union is not open to the public. Our field of membership includes current and retired employees of Metropolitan Council Wastewater employees and their families, including spouses, children, parents, grandparents, siblings, cousins, nieces, nephews and adoptive relatives.
Instant cash cards may be used at any major ATM network (FastBank, Express Teller, Instant Cash, Shazam, etc.) There is also a cash machine located in the West Security Building at the Metro Plant. Payroll deduction is available to any employee of the Metropolitan Council and allows you to divide your direct deposit among multiple accounts.
