It is the mission of the Golden Gate Funeral & Cremation Services, LLC to honor and provide a positive, meaningful, and peaceful environment to recognize the value of a loved one's life. We strive to help celebrate their memory by creating and providing a meaningful memorization that exceeds all expectations for the families, regardless of financial status.
Cremation is the process that reduces dead human remains to 3-7 pounds of organic and inorganic compounds and it accomplishes this by exposing the body to intense heat and flame for a 1.5 - 2 hour duration, at temperatures of approximately 1,200 degrees Fahrenheit. After the cremation, the cremated remains are mechanically processed until they have the consistency of very course sand or gravel.

To be eligible you must be a veteran discharged or separated from active duty under conditions other than dishonorable, and have completed the required period of service. U.S. Armed Forces members who die on active duty are also eligible, as are spouses and dependent children of eligible living and deceased veterans, and of current and deceased armed forces members.

Mr. DiMond Piggie is a graduate of Norfolk State University with a B.S. in Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management and holds a Master of Accounting and Financial Management Degree from Keller Graduate School of Management.He has been a member of the Pi Gamma Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated since 1996.

We did a service, celebration of life for my daddy Christopher Lopez and all I can say is the service itself was very special. The live singing and gratitude expressed was amazing. The crowing ceremony was so special. Thank you thank you thank you for this golden experience with my daddies last moments here on earth.

My son was treated with care after his passing the staff was great very patient with us at our time of need. Everything i planned for my son beautiful homegoing celebration was done perfect they made sure everything was perfect for my baby .During a very hard time in my life they made planning so smooth everyone i encountered was very loving and caring .I recommend anyone who is looking for funeral services to look no further contact them we sincerely thank you Golden Gates for sending my baby home the right way .

Had a very good experience with Golden Gate. Leon Walker was the kind gentleman that I worked with. I had a simple cremation with no service but never was made to feel like it was any less important than a bigger arrangement. Even Dawn at the front desk had a very kind voice and took care of me. I will definitely recommend them in the future.

I just want to make it known publicly so that Steven or whatever the gentlemen name is that was the Director for my great great aunt funeral service today can fix their way of doing business and handling those whom entrust their loved ones with the Golden Gate family. I’ve seen Golden Gate give superb service until today.
All 3 gentlemen that assisted the service today act as if they didn’t want to be there. Attitude after attitude from their body language to the tone and response. My great great aunt service felt rushed which was expressed by several family members. Programs were purchased

During the hardest time of my life my family and I tasked Golden Gate with the celebration of my mothers life. From start to finish the staff was nothing but amazing towards us. My family and friends were more than satisfied with the services. We had no complaints at all. Staff was very loving, caring and very patient with us. There was never a time where I felt lost or un-informed during this entire process.
To the owner Damon and the coordinator Dawn, I truly appreciate you all for everything. I want to thank the make up artist as well. My mother truly looked like herself. She was very beautiful

This is the most amazing funeral I’ve ever attended. The gospel message was beautifully and clearly presented in song and the message. My Uncle Charlie Davis Was truly honored by all of the Golden Gate staff. I don’t even feel right naming them as staff. They were sincere throughout. The golden crown ceremony was astounding.
It was energizing. THIS is what a celebration of life should be.
