Horrible and lacking in respect for his client, left them to fend for themselves without any real support, especially during the most crucial moments of the case. Stay far away!
EDIT: my review was not made in error and is completely correct and accurate - he left his client in the lurch during the most crucial moment without offering any good legal advice, it was as if the client did not hire a lawyer and was representing themselves! Totally unprofessional if not borderline sketchy. Extremely disappointing result and he obviously did not provide anywhere near to a satisfactory level of service

Chuck Naylor is a very knowledgeable and skillful attorney. He is also a really decent man.
Sometimes justice requires special skill and long, hard tedious work. I had extremely complex legal issues due to cumulative injuries sustained during a career on the waterfront. The attorneys that represented my employers are extremely skilled at protecting their client's interests.They work exceptionally hard at this. In so doing, the truths and facts of any given case can get lost, or at a minimum become blurred.
Fortunately, thanks to my attorney, that did not happen to me. I am very fortunate

Charles D Naylor and Joe Rinaldi attorneys represent my brother in a Maritime law case. Recently, they came to Europe to take deposition from a witness in Linz, Austria, and 4 witnesses in Budapest and Szentendre, Hungary. The weather was very cold. Huge pieces of ice were flowing down river Danube, it was snowing non-stop. The roads were slippery and the side walks were covered with ice. The temperature was minus 12 Celsius degrees. I have had the pleasure of working with Mr. Naylor for the past 13 years on different cases.
I first contacted Mr. Naylor shortly after my husband suffered a work related injury while working as a formen on the waterfront. Sadly our case escalated from a work comp. injury to a wrongful death case with in days and needless to say, reaching a settlemet not just with the employer but with one of the big three auto manufacturers took time.
He was prompt to inform me of our rights under work comp. laws and made sure our benefits where in good standing at all time.

I contacted the office of Charles D. Naylor in San Pedro on April 5th, and then I sent an email for him to review, after calling another Attorney in Long Beach first who never called me back. I didn't think I had a strong case against a cruise line when my wife may have gotten food poisoning, after spending 4 days in the ER room on the ship, but I wanted to be sure and Mr. Naylor confirmed that. He called me back the next day and we talked nearly 15 min and he gave me some sound advice, and then he followed up with an email to me that evening.
