This place was recommended as a favorite restaurant in Nashville. Loved the outdoor seating option with space heaters. Staff are very friendly and helpful! Nice drink list. The meal however was only ok. The mussels were quite tasty, but our entrees of the burger and paella were sadly not great. The burger had too much caramelized onion and the paella was very soupy. Loved the ambience and team, but food was mediocre.

Favorite little spot in Berry Hill to have a nice dinner. Be sure to make reservations to get a spot. Try the mussels, they were to die for! Great drinks and service.

I was excited to try the Yellow Porch after hearing others sing it's praises. As I sat, eating my duck and drinking my wine, the wise words of Public Enemy popped in my head -- "don't believe the hype".

The New York strip didn't have much flavor, crust, herbs, etc. it was just salty and didn't have any redeeming qualities. The duck was average at best, and the service was slow at times. The ambience, salad, and chocolate espresso martini were great.

Overall, this The Yellow Porch is a decent place to eat, but it certainly wasn't worth the price on the check

We were a party of six on Saturday night. We ordered a Ceaser Salad which was drenched in dressing. My husband and our friend had to send back their steaks because they were overcooked. We were amazed when the manager told my husband that his steak was cooked medium rare, and the lighting in the restaurant made the meat look darker than it was. The meal in general was horrible. We won't be going back.

Fantastic and unique dishes. Yellow Porch is a great go-to when you need a change of pace. Everything from the appetizers to the desserts are lovingly crafted and deliciously perfect. This hidden gem is my new must visit in the Nashville area.

The service was great, we felt very welcomed. The Cauliflower soup was amazing, same with the beet salad and the sweet potato Gnocchi appetizer special. My wife got the pork chops and absolutely loved it. All in all a gem of a place. Would go again.

The place is in a cut spot, tucked away right behind Jersey Mikes off the interstate. The inside is not quite as big as it looks, so it is a great spot for a date night. Lots of options for alcohol and wine (much more wine than spirits).

The menu online was correct with what we got, but the menu on Yelp is different, which lets me know they change their menu seasonally. I love that. They have some articles and awards about the chef.

Wonderful food, Above and Beyond Superior Service! Todd was our server and he was AWESOME! I wish other restaurants had people with such a passion for their job and high standard for the customer experience! Food was amazing, the classic filet even had an unexpected twist with amazing spice and flavors.
We lost our Reservation with another bigger high class restaurant last minute and my sister called the restaurant and Todd was wonderful helping to get us in on short notice. He also was our server and took the best care of us I have ever experienced in a restaurant. Passion and care are the words

This was my first visit and what a great find. You might drive by and not notice the restaurant tucked away. The porch has a deck attached that is draped in greenery. I suggest calling to reserve a table outside. The food was fantastic. I struggled not to lick my plate. I was able to enjoy an awesome dinner with a friend and would highly recommend checking this place out.

My dinner was the best I have had in any place in Nashville or Charleston. The waiter was cordial and very personable. My daughter and I will return.

Excellent service. Our waiter was very well knowledged of the food and drinks. We ordered the rack of lamb, which was kind of a disappointment and slightly undercooked when we ordered a medium rare. The food is pretty pricy, and their menu is limited, but all of our other dishes came out nicely.

This place is such a lovely spot! Perfect atmosphere with their incredible outside dining, and every bite I took was heaven.

We started with the Celery & Bleu Cheese Soup, which was delicious and the Cheese fritters (splurge night... but worth it!)

For dinner I had the pork chop, which was the single best pork chop I've ever had (TBH, I don't even love pork chops, but this one sounded interesting, and was exceptional!) My wife had fish with mousse which was good but not great.

Carrot cake dessert was unique (served warm) and delicious.

Service was on point. Polished & attentive but in the background.

We stopped in at The Yellow Porch for lunch between appointments. Grandma Hoff had Caesar Salad, Robert had Chicken Canjun Penne pasta and I had the Salmon salad . Delicious

I usually don't write reviews, however in this case I wanted to share my experience, not just because of the delicious food but more about the service.

The Yellow Porch is one of Nashville's jewels that hasn't changed since the first time I had my first meal over 15 years ago. When a friend surprised me with dinner for my born day. After all these years the food is still as good today as it was then. If you want a wonderful meal without the pretentious flair, this charming place is for you.

Loved my lunch here! Ate every bite. Felt very safe outside during this pandemic and appreciated staff being vocal about disinfecting everything prior to seating.

The celery blue cheese soup is FANTASTIC--- comfort in a cup. I love pairing it with the salmon seasonal salad as a lunch time treat. The Yellow Porch has attentive and kind staff and their curbside take out can't be beat from a COVID-19 precaution perspective. If you haven't tried The Yellow Porch, you're missing out. If it's been a while, go back and fall in love again.

I had lunch here yesterday with a friend. I've been here a couple of times since moving to Nashville 20 years ago. It's always delicious. Yesterday, though, it was even more of a treat, as we had an amazing server who was friendly, accommodating, and very knowledgeable about the menu. Thanks John for taking such good care of us! My wife and I went for our Anniversary Friday night. The place is always clean and the staff is always friendly. The staff was wearing the COVID masks the entire time. Yellow Porch has great décor with painted pictures of people like James Dean, Audrey Hepburn, and Marilyn Monroe (if you know who they are - that shows my age). Regardless, I ordered the blackened flounder with a shrimp jambalaya sauce. Sides were rice and caramelized brussels sprouts. Made an outdoor reservation online in advance for a party of four that was not honored so we ate inside. Ordered the steak special at $45 which was unevenly cooked when ordered medium rare. All in all the food was just okay the ambiance was nice. The server was also not attentive. May recommend for apps and drinks skip the entrees.

I found this restaurant while visiting a few other restaurants in the area. This area is known for having really delicious restaurants, so I was excited to see this restaurant in the area. The restaurant is quaint and has a polished atmosphere. I will say that the art on the wall lacked diversity which was slightly disappointing.
