I pass by this place all the time and my bf and I decided to have dinner. College age type environment but saw some older folk as well. Lots of variety of pizzas and tge topping tasted fresh and the wings were great too. The only complaint is when we first entered, we were not sure if we seat outselves or wait to be seated so it would help if it was posted up somewhere

We went to Rick's after reading some online reviews on Yelp. The family was on our summer vacation.
Rick's is a college pizza hangout. Right next to the campus. The parking lot is tiny so my guess is that when kids are in session it might be crowded.
The beer list had 4 or 5 local selections and lots of bottles and cans that were not local. I kinda wished the beer list was better but it was not terrible.
We ordered the garlic knots and two pizzas. The garlic knots were dripping with butter but yummy. We have a local place that does them much better but these were fine.

First time going here and was a bit disappointed. Ordered the bone in wings and they were soggy, not cooked enough. The flavor was ok but I think they were prebreaded, seasoned and sauced. One their way out 3 guys told the waitress was great pizza. The reviews for this place are really good. I must have hit it on a bad day. I will return to try the pizza and other menu items.

Awesome local pizza joint right next to the college with a full bar and lots of beers on tap as well as bottled options. Their pizza crust is phenomenal and they have a great selection of toppings and sauces. I love their "single slices" which are really two slices and are practically like ordering half a pizza. They also have an assortment of toasted sandwiches as well as delicious crispy boneless wings and garlic knots with fresh garlic.

I came today and order a pizza. I ordered and waited for almost an hour and the waiter did not inform that it will take a while. I just feel ignored when he pass by and does not even update me. The thing also i told him that it was for to go and it came to me as dine in. No apology or anything. Horrible experience. Could have communicate to me.If I can give zero, I already did.

Yelp recommended this place and since I love pizza, well, I gave it a shot.
I ordered 2 giant pizzas and an order of garlic knots. Ran us a little over $50. Garlic knots were a little heavy but good flavor. Pizza was okay but totally could have used some more sauce, especially since the sauce had good flavor. Sausage had a kick which I liked.
I probably wouldn't make the drive for this again, but am glad to have added to my list of pizzas I've tried.

Meh.... I appreciate the gluten free options but something falls short..... I think most places order GF crusts from the same locations, it has similar taste as other gf crusts... but some reason this one tastes a little more cardboardy.... as for the regular crust my hubs said it was decent... nothing special, nothing bad.... I'd probably look for other options before trying again. Staff was friendly, place was cute. Very college friendly...

I had a number of unfortunate experiences with Rick's. Unhappy to hear that anybody had anything but a stellar experience, the manager of Rick's reached out and invited me to come get a pizza cooked personally by himself.
I took him up on it, and was not disappointed. Our pizza was properly cooked and tasty. We were happy to take the remaining back home and eat at our leisure, and it was enough to motivate us to keep returning to Rick's.

This a great spot. After enduring the chaos of Reno, the friendly staff at Rick's were very welcoming. We were lucky to arrive at happy hour, and wings were on sale, so we promptly over did it.
Pizza was excellent, BBQ chicken, and a pepperoni and sausage. They had menu names, I am sure they were both on the favorites list, but once you over do it on buffalo, and BBQ wings, followed by an amazing slice or two....ok more than two. Names are hard. I think there was a monster in there somewhere...
Needless to say. Make sure you add this stop to your list.
