Services
Here at Kenkel Eye Care, we know how important proper eye care is. We are dedicated to providing the highest level of service so you can have the vision you deserve. We truly believe in routine eye examinations so that you can see as clearly as possible. Once you have to get glasses or contacts, it is even more important to watch the health of your eyes.
The optometrists at Timothy P Kenkel & Associates make it a priority to continuously update themselves on new diagnostic equipment and optometric methodologies. At both locations next to LensCrafters in Cincinnati, our eye doctors have proudly offered quality eye care to patients in Bridgetown, Western Hills and the surrounding areas for many years.
Cataracts cause a clouding of the lens in the eye, making your vision appear to be foggy. Cataracts are the most common cause of vision loss in people over 40 and are the leading cause of blindness in the world. Your eyes are meant to naturally adjust to normal light changes, adjust focus, and allow us to see both near and far.
If you have insurance, please let us know when you are scheduling your appointment. If possible, give us the information so that we will know exactly what your insurance covers before you come into our office. When it is time for your appointment, we will go over your benefits. If you need eyeglasses or contact lenses, we will be able to discuss what your insurance will pay and what you are required to pay.
On average, we recommend scheduling an appointment once every two years to ensure your eyes are remaining healthy. If you have been diagnosed with an eye condition, however, we recommend scheduling an appointment once or twice a year depending on the severity. During your appointment, we will review your patient history, visual acuity, perform preliminary tests, and evaluate your eyes' overall health.

Dr. Clearly is one of the best doctors I have ever seen! She is ever so sweet and very patience with all of my questions and concerns about my eyes and their health. The computer technician, Zach, was also very knowledgeable about the contacts I ordered and was able to assist me with my financial questions and invited me to come back if I ever more problems. An extremely nice visit…nothing to fear at all!

I'm an older person with some eye issues and the doctor took her time to explain everything. She made sure I felt comfortable with everything she told me before I left. I like the feeling when you know you have the doctors full attention and they are not trying to hurry things up. I feel there full attention every time.
