Jewel Tech, Inc. began operation in 1979 as a jewelry trade shop servicing and repairing jewelry for retail jewelry establishments. At one time, up to seven jewelers serviced twenty seven major Jacksonville jewelry stores. After twelve years of exclusive wholesale service, Jewel Tech moved to the Bank of America (formally Barnett) Regency tower and offered their services directly to the public.
Customers could now speak directly with a jeweler concerning ring sizing, stone setting, custom design, casting, mold making, insurance, appraisals, pearl stringing, chain repairs, diamond and colored stone replacement, engraving, and most anything related to jewelry. Jewel Tech was one of the first in Jacksonville to install a state-of-the-art laser welder.

We specialize in using the proper tools and techniques to size any metal or setting without causing damage to the stones or surrounding elements. With over 30 years of experience, we are capable of setting any gems or diamonds of your choosing. As Jacksonville's orginal adopter of Laser Welding technology, we are proud to offer repair and welding services for specialty and unique pieces.
Most diamonds imported to the US come from Israel where we visited a cutting factory that shuns tourists and where security is personified. This was a buying trip to a world diamond source; a company that deals directly with DeBeers for diamond rough, then cuts, polishes, and markets their "goods" to select merchandisers.

Came here to get rings sized. Love that everything stays on premises and nothing is sent off. Nice staff and very helpful. And they were QUICK! My rings were ready to be picked up in a day after dropping them off! They looked brand new and just as expected. I won’t be going anywhere else! Highly recommend.

My husband and I have been customers here for around 19 years! I stopped in today to have my diamond ring checked and cleaned. They could have gotten me for a repair but said my ring is fine. The diamond is still tight. I love how friendly and welcoming they all are. And I love that the same nice people are working there from a long time ago!

I am so, so pleased with the work that Jewel Tech did for me. I went to several jewelry shops asking for someone to alter my engagement ring (I wanted my grandmother's diamonds added to an existing ring's style) and either couldn't find someone with the expertise or willingness to tackle the project. Jewel Tech was so friendly, creative, and willing to do what I asked - and it came out so beautifully. I drew out what I wanted and they created it exactly like I wanted!
