This has given me the opportunity to visit many restaurants and NONE can compare to Mahi's. The atmosphere is amazing, the food excellent and the service is superior. I could Go on and on about this restaurant! I like good food and even better service and this is what you will get here. I ask for Wendy every time I visit and I am always happy to see her smiling face and amazing service!

I ate at Mahi's for the first time last weekend, and loved it so much that I came back this week. The calamari and crab/shrimp dip are to die for! On Wednesday, our waitress let us know their appetizers and bottles were 1/2 off. So, I will definitely be coming back on Wednesdays! For entree, I got the fish and chips again. Usually I'm a little hesitant because I've been to some restaurants where it was too fishy. But Mahi's knows what they're doing! I will probably order the fish and chips every time I stop in. 10/10 recommend!

The menu has options for almost every appetite.
Atmosphere is chill and relaxing. The decor is cozy and warming.
The portions for the seafood options are perfect but for the land choices they are a bit small.
Opened the meal with calamari, crab / spinach dip, shishito peppers and raw oysters. The table devoured them all.
The sushi was not as fresh as i anticipated. It felt fresh but then frozen and then served. It didn't have the buttery feel of fresh fresh fish.
Their signature mahi dish was the winner of the night. The mushroom risotto was superb.

This is a nice spot to eat if you're staying at the hotel. My husband enjoyed his waffle. The taste of the french toast was delicious, although there were a few raw spots on the toast. I didn't say anything because I was pretty full by the time I got to the parts not fully cooked. The apple bacon was very tasty as well.

Came here to continue celebrating my birthday ...waiter KHALID was FABULOUS! He suggested I try the Mahi Fish and that was wonderful, I have told many about this place ..but the waiters here...add spice to the atmosphere...will go back just for them!! Oh by the way the homemade Key Lime Pie... AWESOME!!!

Visiting during Neptune festival. The beach is packed. Had to wait 1 hour wait for a table. Walked around to see the remodeling. Looks fantastic. Very nice decor. Had drinks at the boardwalk side bar. We ordered appetizers and entries. All come out perfectly cooked. The portion for the flounder sandwich was huge. Everything was perfect. Will be back for date night.

Awesome! We loved it. Went with friends for last dinner before they left. Extensive menu, with something for everyone. First, the wife loves oysters, so she got a half dozen Hatteras and loved them. Our friends had sushi and seafood pasta. I'm not much on seafood, but had a wedge salad and crabcake. All said their meals were fantastic, as was the service and the entire experience. We'll definitely be back.

Food is decent. Service is horrible. We walked in off the boardwalk and waited at the outside hostess stand. Several servers walked past and ignored us. Finally I asked one if we were supposed to seat ourselves. He said we were supposed to see the hostess at the main entrance (off the street) but that he'd get her for us. We waited and waited. I ordered take-out from Mahi's twice once for dinner and once for breakfast one of my favorites in Virginia Beach! They have so many options and the food tastes great! It's the first restaurant I have been to at the beach where I didn't feel like I spent too much money on what I got! Usually, I have to go back to my room and cook something because I am still hungry! :(
The staff was friendly and the restaurant looked clean. I love how much outdoor space they have to accommodate all guests. I didn't feel like I was in a restaurant attached to a hotel! Definitely will be back

I came in for dinner for one. There was a long wait so I opted for the bar. They were extremely busy but it was a bunch of staff around it though. Either way it took them about 7-10 minutes to clean away the dishes of the last ppl who had sat where I sat. Had to ask a few times for a menu. Glad I'm not a crazy customer because someone less tolerable would have complained. It is a nice spot, if ever in town again I would come on a less busy night to have a better impression of the restaurant. The crab and shrimp dip was oily. Didn't like that but cost too mulch to waste.

After about a 40 minute wait on a beautiful Friday night, we got a perfect table outdoors with a beach view and a band was playing at the entrance of the restaurant.
We enjoyed the Neptune kings platter, added a side of mushroom rice pilaf, everything tasted amazing. Crab cake was perfect, very tasty, no fillers. It was a Healthy option for 2.
Staff was nice, our server was very kind. Totally worth the wait. Highly recommended!

Mahi's has been around the Oceanfront for as long as I remember but I have never stepped foot inside. To me, it feels and looks like a tourist trap for the out of towners. While walking by Mahi's just recently, I noticed that they renovated the outdoor area beautifully which piqued my interest. Maybe it is time to check this place out. They are known for their sushi and seafood offerings and the prices are on the high side. We decided to come in early and check out their brunch.

Typical American food but a little extra good service goes all the way.
First time in the restaurent, the food was really good and the service is also excellent.
Out waiter checked on us many times and made sure we have good time and everything was ok..
If I comeback to vs beach in the future I will definitely revisit this place..

Very pleased with my shrimp poboy! Very well seasoned shrimp, crispy fried and perfectly balanced with the brioche bread, toppings and sauce. I would definitely order again. My husbands burger looked good but he said it was dry. Also the fries and were very cold for both our meals and we had no way to heat them up. My poboy wasn’t cold but it wasn’t hot either, which was disappointing because we were there when they placed it in the boxes for our to go order so we assumed all the food would be the same temperature, the burger was the only thing that was hot. I’d still eat here again though

We stopped in for mid-afternoon drinks. Mike was great! He made a few suggestions and offered to guide us thru the menu. We told him we're only there for drinks and he didn't rush us at all. We stayed and enjoyed our drinks.
The ambiance in the restaurant is very nice and relaxing. We ordered the pressed sangria and the cinnamon and smoke drinks. The sangria was served in a French press and made well but it was pretty much juice. This needs some alcohol. The cinnamon smoke is pretty cool and very strong. Once you life the coaster off you can see the smoke swirl out of the glass. Definitely

The view, service, and food were all fantastic!! We were able to get seating outside for Father's Day last minute. Outside seating was covered and perfect since it drizzled.
We had several appetizers but our most favorite was the Spicy Tuna Salad. All of our food came out with good timing and our server was impeccable. Definitely going back.

We loved this place! The sushi is fresh with a really wide variety, the staff friendly, and the atmosphere is so relaxing. We could literally hear the waves crashing in the ocean from our table! We also have gone just for drinks on the outside side bar area. The drinks were delicious as well every time. We will definitely be back.

Mahi's is the restaurant inside the Doubletree in Virginia Beach's Oceanfront. Even though it's inside the hotel, it feels like it's own place. The tall windows and patio seating along the sand lets in natural light creating a welcoming atmosphere.
Since we're Hilton Honor members, we got free continental breakfast at Mahi's every morning. The staff were always on it, fast and friendly. The breakfast itself wasn't bad. We got to choose:
- Coffee or tea
- Juice or milk
- Fruit, oatmeal or cereal
- Toast, muffin or croissant
The breakfast isn't amazing

All I can say is OMG!!! The staff Justin (our Server) Steve (the chef) made my birthday celebration one fit for a Queen! We dined here the 2 nights we were in town and I felt like they were family!!!
Now for the food!!! Maaan...each and every dish, entrée, drink is custom made with an original twist! Their Rockefeller Oysters were out of this world. I'm truly a foodie and I could taste every fresh ingredient, I felt the love and passion for creating amazingly delicious food by Steve the chef. He took pride in every dish.
