The people running it are all fantastic.
Its not a full time place. They move you around as events come and go. It is a fairground after all.
In March everyone has to leave for 6 to 8 weeks for big events. They tell you all of this up front, so no surprise.
$30 a night or $180 a week. No monthly rate.
When it gets full it's really tight. I mean really tight. MOST people are quiet and decent in my experience.
Goat heads everywhere. Watch your dogs paws and bike tires ... 6 flats in 3 weeks. We had the better tires with puncture guards too.
I'd go back when it's less busy for sure.

What a friendly and accommodating staff there is at this quaint rv park! Clean, fresh air, lots of pull through spots, a sizable dog park. We felt entirely comfortable and recommend @The RV Park at the Pima County Fairgrounds to other travelers.

First off were new to camping at fairgrounds. Secondly wed do it again if theyre all as great as this one. We needed a place to stay traveling across country and visiting our folks in Corona de Tucson. We arrived late at night and checked in through security which was easy and she was friendly and the Host was awake and friendly as well. In fact everyone was very pleasant. The spaces were generous, clean, quiet and mostly flat! Hookups were convenient! On/off freeway easily accessed. Great place for short or even long term stays. We camped at Pima County Fairgrounds in a Travel Trailer.

This is such a great location. I will be coming back here. Beautiful during butterfly season. The central garden is way cooler then I thought it would be. Lots of families, mostly a quiet place except the occasional events. Great rates, great management, great view! 10/10

Pima County Fairgrounds is a perfect overnight stop while traveling along the I-10. Large clean sites, FHU's, well lite gravel sites. We try and stop midweek and check the web site for events that may pack the park.

We enjoyed our week stay at the fairgrounds.
It has plenty of room for walking the dog. Nice large dog pens, for our dog to get off leash exercise.
There was a concession stand open for a horse show, that the campers were able to go to.
Nothing fancy in the parking areas, but it was a fun week.
