Duck Island RV Park and Fishing Resort is nestled on the Sacramento River, surrounded by historic landmarks and vacation sights. We are close to Napa County which provides great wine country tours. Duck Island has 6 lighted fishing docks so you can fish day or night. Or if you prefer, you can fish off the manicured grassy bank, which is two football fields long.
Duck Island is centrally located in Sacramento County, providing a quick access to what seems like a distant vacation spot. Once you're here, the troubles of life just melt away as you sit under shade trees reading or watching the world drift by! Duck Island's friendly staff will accommodate your every vacation need, whether it's booking your stay or providing bait for your fishing needs or propane for your RVs.

Duck Island RV Park & Fishing Resort does not allow tent/canopy camping, day fishing without an RV, nor do we provide public dumping stations. Fire pits nor campfires of any type are not allowed in the park. All RV guests must arrive in fully functional, self-contained recreational vehicles because we do not offer public bathrooms or showers. All campers must be 18 years or older due to the river risk.

This was our first time of coming here we wanted some place not too far from where we live to just relax and fish. The people are very nice that run it we are not sure if it's the owners or not but they are just really nice people. We will definitely be returning I kind of hate to share it because now we have found a little piece of paradise. So much better than the county park & the state park. We were fortunate enough to have a Riverview and it's just very peaceful.

Nothing but nice and respectful neighbors in this small community RV park. It's a mixture of transients and long term residents. There are no children given it is an all adult establishment.
Fishing was the main reason I've chose to stay here for few days. Sites 1 through 17 are along the Sacramento river known for Stripe Bass and Sturgeon. There are six piers to fish from. Practically cast anywhere off the edge of the river. I've caught several shakers. Love that they provide free ice for cases where you need to preserve your catch.

We enjoyed our short 3 day stay at Duck Island. The RV park was kept in perfect shape. Each site had crushed rock to park RV's and trailers on, with a long paved pad for vehicles and a picnic table. The hooks up (E/W/S) were conveniently located in one spot, along with cable (if so desired). The main gate is closed at night, so take the code with you (we learned the hard way!)!!! They were very nice about it, but it was embarrassing!

I kept my sail boat on the Delta for about 15 years so I knew that in the summer the winds whip up the San Joaquin and Sacramento Rivers. WE had not been back to the Delta for many years. We just purchased a motor home and decided to go to Duck Island for an over nighter. I had never heard of the Duck Island RV Park before but took a chance. WOW! We were so rewarded. Everything I loved about the Delta was at the DI RV Resort! Great people both managing and visiting. Harriet is an ambassador of the highest caliber! This resort is immaculate and has all you need. There are no public restrooms

Being by the water here is gorgeous. It's windy in the summer, but it makes the heat tolerable and pleasant. We don't fish, but the docks can hold several people, and we relaxed with drinks during sunset. The few negative reviews seem to revolve around no bathrooms and no kids. Yes you have to have a bathroom in your trailer (there are full hook-ups). We thought the over-18 rule a bit odd until we got to our site along the river. I could see it not being safe for kids. A reviewer said something about no alcohol, but I didn't see or read anything about that (just no drunkeness

We stayed there a few years ago for a while, We loved it there and Charlie the manager not sure if he's still there but he is awesome!! It does get windy there but you're on water so it's to be expected! No there are no bathroom facilities there but we have a self contained 5th wheel so if you don't then this place for that reason only wouldn't be ideal for you to stay for an extended time anyway.
All in all I would highly recommend this RV park to anyone!

We arrived on a Sunday about noon towing my small trailer RV. Since we arrived without a reservation, I stopped at the gate and used the intercom to call the proprietor. He was not on site and was unable to open the gate. He called someone inside the park and we finally got into the park about 15 minutes later. We didn't stay there. The reason: this park has no public restroom or shower facilities.

Very clean and well maintained. Laundry room is clean and equipment in great shape. Incredible views of the river. Manager was extremely pleasant and even stayed open late one night to fill my propane tank. Fishing docks a real plus. Lawn areas make this park like. Concrete, asphalt, and gravel make site very clean. I would recommend to my friends. Adult only makes it very quiet.

We discovered this gem a few months ago and have been here several times since. Great park. The only drawback is the afternoon wind, but that's mother natures doing. The park is beautifully maintained, the manager is a friendly, helpful gentleman. I don't fish, but love to go out on the sturdy, well made fishing platforms just to look. Also, it's nice to sit on the grassy area near the river just to watch the water activities. All the sites are uniform with lighted pedestals, all the pedistals work and all have 30 & 50 amp. We'll continue to come back. Also, the wifi and

The park was well manicured with great views. The office employee was very calm, friendly, and professional. The view was great. We only had one night away from our kids and I wanted to be able to fish. We have burned out our children on fishing. This facility offered 24 hour lighted fishing docks which was exactly what I wanted. I did not have to worry about quiet time ruining my fishing. It was too windy when we arrived. Winds were blowing onshore at about 22 mph. This was not pleasant for me. But, in the morning the wind died down, I was in a Waterview site, and a beautiful expanse of grass
