We use PPG Envirobase an environmentally-friendly, "waterborne" paint and offer a lifetime warranty on all paint repairs. We are here for any kind of trouble with your vehicle. We know your vehicle breaking down can be frustrating, and even worse, it can leave you stranded. We provide the best service to make you feel at ease during such a time.

The team at precision is absolutely stellar. While my vehicle was in their care, they took the time to continuously update me on progress and any potential setbacks going on with the repair. Despite a massive hit, my car looks just as good if not better than when I purchased it. While I hope that I never have to take my car to a body shop again, this would be the only place I’d trust to get work done.

Unfortunately, my car was rear-ended twice in a year. The folks at Precision Auto Body restored it both times to as-new condition. They do great quality work and are good people. If your car needs body repair, go here (and don't miss all the rare, high-end, sports cars being refurbished but know they will treat whatever car you bring in as important as the rarest Ferrari, Lambo, or Porsche).

Everything you read in these reviews is 100% accurate. This team of professionals takes huge pride in their work. You might have to wait a few extra days for them to finish the job but it's well worth the wait. Their prices are exceptionally reasonable. Zach and the rest of the crew keeps you in the loop and updates are frequent and thorough. If you find a car mechanic, keep him And, when you find an excellent mechanic, brag on him!!

I cannot recommend this body shop enough. They've helped me out twice. First, with a dented bumper and then with replacing my headlights. Super friendly, fast, and most importantly affordable. I shopped around and they were by far the best value. I don't know much about cars and I'm so reassured there's a local shop that won't take advantage of me. I think part of it is that they're independent (not part of a chain) and so they have more flexibility to focus on quality and not quantity of customers in and out. Thank you Precision Auto Body!

I've had body work done at multiple places in Austin and I originally found precision a few years ago when my BMW needed a repair. Upon walking in I was greeted by Joyce who is the pride and joy of the business. By far the best customer service experience I've ever had with anyone in any car related business. She actually cares about you and your vehicle. The body work they do is flawless - literally think my car looks identical to when I drove it off the lot. They've done work on my lexus, BMW and my friends BMW and they have all come back nothing short of perfect.

Precision Auto Body of Austin is the only body shop I'll ever use. They took care of me and my 2009 Subaru Outback like family. Working with Rey was smooth. I'll be honest, Rey had my car (964) longer than I anticipated, but it was well worth the wait. Don't get me wrong, I agreed to all the additional work and knew it would result in additional delays. Rey was easy to work with and I knew the car would come out good as new and I was not disappointed! The car looks awesome and have had many people ask me about the car! Thanks Ray and Team! It has been my pleasure to have experience with the wonderful folks at Precision Auto Body on three separate occasions for three different things. In all my interactions, I was listened to, and given very exacting estimates. Joyce in the office is a treasure and will take excellent care of you with all the paperwork, insurance, or even getting a ride.
I have had some engine work done here that is now over a year old and my car is running like a top. It was time consuming labor and they kept my costs as low as possible.

I cannot say enough good things about Persicion Auto Body!! They were extremely helpful through out the whole process after I was unfortunately rear ended. They did excellent work painting, welding, making sure all body lines look OEM, contacting insurance and maintaining to update me the whole time! They even went the extra mile and found some codes and exhaust leak that I had no idea about!! I would like to thank their whole staff especially Joyce and Riley, I will be coming here when ever I need any body work done!!

My truck and trailer were damaged by a distracted driver while parked in front of my home. I have never been in an accident and had no great leads for a body shop, and chose Precision after reading the strong reviews. I am very glad I did.

I was impressed by how smooth the whole process was. Great customer service , I would give 100/10. They had excellent communication through out the process and my repairs took only a couple days and they did a perfect job. Joyce reassured me that they would take good care of my car and she also helped me with the third party insurance. The process took lesser time than I anticipated and I'm really happy I decided to go to Precision auto body. I had heard great things and reviews and they were all 200% correct😊. My car was even cleaned and detailed and looks as good as brand new.

I just got my car back from Precision Auto Body and they did an amazing job! I've never been in a wreck and Rey was super helpful in telling me what to get done and how to do it (dealing with insurance/police department, etc.)! They did a great job on the exterior of my car and even gave me periodic updates on how the repairs were going. The customer service was amazing and Joyce handled all issues with the insurance and rental car service with ease. I highly recommend taking your car here, they make the annoyance of car trouble a little less stressful!

I took my car in here last week to get my bumper repaired and they did a great job! Not only does my car look exactly how it was when I bought it, but they repaired it quickly and within the time promised... which is rare in my past experience. The service here was great from the beginning. Joyce and Michael were both so nice. My wife and I got into an accident in Austin in the middle of a cross-country move from LA to NYC. The accident occurred at 5:30, and very few body shops were open at that time. Luckily, Precision Auto Body was open.

This shop is great. They are honest and trust-worthy, friendly, and very reasonably priced. I took my BMW there about 3 times, and each time it was an actual pleasure to do business with them. Owner introduced himself to me on my first visit, Micheal was very informative about any issues I had with my vehicle, and Joyce at the front desk was always friendly. I always felt my vehicle was in good hands with them and that I could trust them. When there was one thing they couldn't do (I believe they are mostly a body shop, instead of full-service), they recommended another trust-worthy shop

I originally inquired through a car group on facebook asking who should I take my classic BMW to for repairs. After a couple days I was contacted by Michael stating that he works for this little shop who's owner worked for BMW North America and would absolutely love to work on my car.
He was adamant about stopping by and looking at the vehicle in person if I didn't mind. What happened next blew my mind...

Considering all the usual annoyance that comes with having to get your car repaired, they made it as easy as possible, and have some of the most outstanding customer service I've ever experienced. Joyce went above and beyond to get my rental vehicle over to pick me up in a timely manner and Michael (I believe my mechanic's name was Michael?) also went above and beyond to make sure the insurance company approved use of OEM parts rather than after market. I've used Precision twice and each time they have gone above and beyond expectations. They are courteous and professional. They battled the insurance company to ensure OEM parts were uswd. When a small issue briefly delayed their estimated finish date on some personally covered work, they even refunded me a small portion of the fee. When a presumably unrelated radiator issue arose after replacing the front bumper, they looked at the issue and supported resolution. They deliver value and quality work.

Best customer service! Joyce and David were amazing in communicating what to expect after I hired them to repair my car after being in an accident. They were the middle man to me and my insurance company and fought to get things done right and quickly. I was recommended this place after the auto body shop my insurance company referred me to couldn't work on my vehicle until weeks later! I had to find someone to help and work on my car asap- I met with David and Joyce the next day and they were able to start repairs quickly. I can't say enough good things about these guys. A moulding came off my car, and so I brought it to Precision Auto Body on the recommendation of Gene Johnson Automotive on Manor (who are also great).
They didn't just fix the problem, but were able to fix a variety of other bumps and scratches - and for less than I was expecting. They even refunded me for the work on one scratch (which they had improved quite a bit) because they couldn't get it 100%.

Well all I can say is there aren't enough stars in the universe to cover this place! We got hit again and this time the insured policy was Fred Loya. Everyone I spoke with said Fred Loya, uhoh! And they were right.
Precision dealt with the insurance company's underbid AND helped me get reimbursed-- even though it was not their job! Joyce is a joy and you simply cannot go wrong with this fantastic auto body shop!!!

David and Joyce are absolute life-savers. Ran into a deer on my way into Austin and needed to get my headlight/bumper fixed before leaving for New Orleans the next day. David personally drove to pick up the parts and his team installed the new headlight and blinker within 12 hours in order to make sure my sister and I could get on the road and stay on track.

For all you yelp users, my review for this auto body shop was deemed suspicious and was buried to the bottom of the page and not recommended for viewing. Since the time of my first review, I have taken my car in again for repair, and Precision Auto did a fabulous job! I would like to be able to present my receipts to YELP so I can demonstrate that I am an ACTUAL customer and not fabricating these reviews!!!
