Alzheimer's Family Center
Our adult day care facility provides Alzheimer's services in Orange County, including programs for those in any stage of dementia as well as individuals experiencing dementia and depression, depression and memory loss, anxiety and Alzheimer's, PTSD and dementia and more. We give expert guidance and support for family caregivers of dementia patients during the day, allowing caregivers a bit of much needed respite.

In addition, we offer free caregiver counseling thanks to generous grants from the Baccash Family Foundation, Linden Family Foundation, Rupe Foundation, Green Foundation and SCAN. Alzheimer's Family Center provides community education through our Mind Booster Series, Healthy Brain Fairs, and Legal Workshops.
Services
It was an idea as simple as it was radical: To create a day care program - and build a unique, world-class facility - especially for dementia patients living at home. We'd fill the patient's days with hope, encouragement and healthy activities. Add in the right sort of positive stimulation. And, most of all, we'd introduce a day care environment where people with dementia could thrive.
1. Do you need a place that will take care of your loved one when you are at work, or need to take a break from non-stop care of your loved one? 3. Do you wish you had someone to talk to? Someone who really understands what you are going through - and can offer real answers, complete information, and a detailed plan to help make the life of your loved one as healthy, happy and productive as possible?
We couldn't achieve our work without the support of dedicated volunteers who contribute their time and talents to our cause. We currently have many opportunities for individuals, groups, and student interns who would like to help us fulfill our mission. We have several opportunities available, including arts & crafts volunteers, administrative volunteers, and program volunteers!
Alzheimer's Family Center is fortunate to work with a highly qualified passionate and dedicated team of executives and board members. She was Manager of Nursing for four years and is now serving as Senior Director of Programs. Becky Barney-Villano began consulting with Alzheimer's Family Center in 2014 and currently serves as Senior Consultant for Fund Development and Grants.
AFC sponsor spotlight. We'd like to acknowledge the corporate supporters who invest so much time and treasure in our mission to support families who are caring for a loved one with dementia. Our corporate supporters have faith in Alzheimer's Family Center's commitment to be Orange County's most trusted resource for families who live between the promise of a cure for dementia - and the daily reality of caring for a memory-impaired loved one.

Best adult day care for memory-challenged with caring staff allowing me to work with peace of mind knowing Mom's in good hands. Pandemic has been tougher since Mom goes to work with me. AFC has been closed to in-person services & offering online services. Thankfully, they're reopening safely & slowly in June.
