My neighbor in apartment 1112 is so rude and inconsiderate. He stomps around all night at 4 in the morning when I'm trying to sleep and I always hear music playing loudly. And he treats other residents poorly when he sees them in the hallways. I was walking around in jean shorts and a tank top and he gave me a dirty look and told me I need to cover up.

I lived at Castlewood for around 4 years in 2 different units.
Pros:
Location - My dentist, barber, gym, and great restaurants were a short walk
View - Had some great unobstructed sunsets on the west side of the building
Parking - Underground, heated garage
Community - Majority of people are very friendly
Employees - Very supportive maintenance and leasing team
Cons
Older Apartments - Low ceilings and drafty windows
Building - Recently had some hot water issuea

We just moved in and couldn’t be happier. The apartments themselves are well maintained with lots of amenities. The manager & staff are wonderful, friendly and kind. The maintenance team is fantastic and I see people cleaning all the time, washing windows, sanitizing, vacuuming, wiping down door handles and surfaces etc. There are lots of fun events too.This approach to apartment living turns the residence into a community.

Overpriced. Elevators are never working and when they are, someone is moving in or out and has it reserved all day. Maintenance never comes. Been locked out of our unit due to our door breaking and not properly getting fixed. Maintenance will say they came and fixed your issue and they never did. Kind of dirty and outdated in general. Definitely not worth it for the price, you can find a MUCH better place.

Great apartments for a great price. Staff is very helpful, friendly, and complete requests in a timely manner. i.e maintenance staff works on your service request day of, or the day after requested. The job is done extremly quickly and effectively. The overall quality of care staff and management put out, really makes this apartment run smoothly and makes this a nice, safe place to live.

We are current residents and have been in Castlewood Apartments for almost a year. We love it here. We love our apartment, the balcony, the in-unit washer and dryer and central air. We love the responsiveness of the staff -- any time there is a problem or concern they address it immediately. And we love the area -- we step outside the door into a safe, friendly area with restaurants, families and interesting retail places.
