For this reason, our comprehensive assessment and treatment plans look at their ability to function at home, school, and maybe even a local park.

Ushma is energetic, creative and encouraging! She has been working with my child on his fine motor & visual perception skills for the last six months and my child is always excited to work with her. Ushma and World of OT are experts. If you want the best knowledge and support for your child and yourself as a parent World of OT is the place for your OT needs.
Ushma is energetic and my kids gravitated to her immediately. She is also great at parent education and support. She will help your whole system--family and school learn to support your child.
World of OT is also great at teaching children self-advocacy and independence. My son knows how to take care of him self and ask for what supports he needs at school.

We had the pleasure of working with Ushma for a year. Because of her skillful and individualized interventions, we saw dramatic improvement in a short period of time.

For starters, Ushma provided us with the most detailed and thorough initial assessment/report I've ever seen from a occupational therapist (OT). Trust me, I'm a nurse. I've seen plenty.

She's incredibly responsive, and offers the most helpful advice, as you navigate challenges and day-to-day activities.

Pre-pandemic, we'd have our sessions at a local playground, which we really enjoyed. Our sessions are

Ushma is an amazing OT! I'm working towards a career in pediatric OT and volunteered my time to World of OT. While volunteering, I also work as a preschool teacher. Ushma has taught me so much about a child's development and I used the lessons she has taught me and applied them in my own curriculum at work. She gave me so much support and guidance, and I feel very lucky to have volunteered for her!

If you are looking for a passionate, caring and an OT who is truly driven by sharing her knowledge and experience in helping kids who need it, Ushma is it! I reached out to her to consult for my nephew, and even though he's in a different country, she spoke to my aunt (nephew's mom) periodically to guide her and also connected her with her OT network in that country. It's been about 2 years, and she continues to check-in with me about him. Thank you Ushma!

I had the pleasure of meeting Ushma back in 2017 and was able to see her work with children as an OT. She is extremely knowledgeable about her field and I was amazed at how she was able to work with so many children with different needs. Every child is completely different from the rest; there is no "one model child," they all have varying needs and I was very impressed how Ushma tailored her work to fit their needs and managed to provide excellent therapy. She is also very passionate about her work and truly wants to help each child become independent and thrive. Her heart really shows in her

Ushma is one of the most compassionate, dedicated and resourceful occupational therapists I've met. As a fellow OT I am always impressed by Ushma's drive to do better, her level of knowledge and competency in pediatric occupational therapy. She's always a step ahead, eager to learn, and deploys the most current and effective strategies in her practice. She's energetic, warm hearted, and loves what she does. I highly recommend her and World of OT to anyone looking for an occupational therapy evaluation or services. She truly touches people's lives and is able to improve

Ushma mentored me (in a pediatric occupational therapy setting) while I was working to complete required volunteer hours in occupational therapy before applying to graduate school. I found her to be welcoming, intelligent, and patient. She was able to answer the many questions that I had regarding assessments, diagnoses, and treatments. Likewise, Ushma was competent, patient and engaging with her clients. She has a variety of unique and fun ways to engage children in therapy through play. I certainly recommend her to anyone looking for OT services.
