Drunk Yoga
Only the way in which we "intoxicate" the convention of traditional yoga by making our events social, designed for community-building. We do this by infusing games and icebreakers into our beginner-friendly classes. At Drunk Yoga, we're all about connecting communities and cultivating joy through uplifting, interactive yoga experiences, both virtually and in-person.

We specialize in curating accessible corporate yoga programs that build camaraderie and make wellness fun. We're famous for being the first yoga company to offer classes that include a beverage in-hand-often wine, sometimes juice or coffee, and always fun. We invite you to let your hair down and enjoy this potent union of yoga and social ritual.
Services
While Drunk Yoga originated in a bar in Lower Manhattan with wine in-hand to make yoga fun for newbies, the experience has evolved to include a generous array of customizable themed classes to bring together corporate teams, friends, loved ones, neighbors n' strangers in the spirit of celebration through movement.
Eli Walker created Drunk Yoga was created after a conversation in a bar.(where most great ideas begin, right?) If you can believe it, we don't want you to get drunk on wine. Truly. We want you to get drunk on the feeling that comes with experiencing joy through belonging! That's exactly why our classes are set up the way they are.
A woman with a mission to challenge social norms and provide you with tools for self-empowerment to cultivate personal joy. Equipped with a BFA in Acting from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, I have a knack for bringing yoga to non-yogis in unconventional settings through performative means.
A: Drunk Yoga is a social, interactive yoga experience designed to foster joy through laughter and community-building. We help newbies experience yoga without fear, and seasoned yogis reconnect with yoga sans pressure to be perfect. We invite you to let your hair down, have some fun and enjoy this potent union of yoga and social ritual.
Looking for fun ways to get healthy while connecting your team- virtually and in person? Drunk Yoga's corporate wellness events are designed to make team-building, wellness and camaraderie a one-stop solution for your company. With Drunk Yoga's corporate wellness experiences, we've created fun, social and beginner-friendly yoga classes to build workplace community both near and far.

"Drunk Yoga" is more than a stretching class, it's a spiritual experience. Eli guides the class in gentle stretching and balancing a glass while doing so, all the while keeping you entertained with her empathetic wit and humor. If you're lucky, she'll even regale you with some snippets of her story and how she came up with "Drunk Yoga". Anytime you can connect with others in a class, get a nice stretch, and engage in inspiring talk all at the same time is time well spent. Highly recommended.

I brought Eli on to do a Drunk Yoga happy hour with my team and she was absolutely fantastic. She was great to work with leading up to the event- responsive, flexible, and open to creating the perfect format to meet my needs. Everyone raved about our virtual happy hour yoga with Eli and have been asking for more! It was the perfect way to bring the team together for the uplifting self-care we all are in desperate need of right now (and always!). Couldn’t recommend her more highly!!

This is the most fun I’ve ever had in a yoga class! The instructor was hilarious, the music playlist was straight out of my 90’s childhood and we played games that included giving ourselves and our neighbors some much needed compliments. The games and compliments made it easier to make friends with the other people in the class too. The wine was an added bonus as well!

Just did a virtual drunk yoga class and it was so fun!! It was a great flow, optional beverage choice and a lot of fun prompts that just put you in a good mood. I truly left the class drunk on joy, even though my beverage of choice was water. Loved Eli’s teaching style and the way I feel after class inside and out!

I was very disappointed that the quarantine was still in effect during my August birthday, but Drunk Yoga turned it into an amazing celebration with friends. Because of the virtual format I was able to celebrate with my local LA friends and friends in the east coast, England and Israel as well. The level was perfect and everyone loved it! I still enjoy the fabulous pictures I got from the event as well the amazing personalized playlist that Eli put together for me. I would use Drunk Yoga again for any event or get together- it is an awesome way to virtually be with friends while doing something

This was so much fun! I had no idea that taking a yoga class over zoom could be so interactive and a really fun way to end a week or celebrate with friends. Eli is really gifted at guiding you through the process from start to finish to you are set up for success. I love that I can now do this from anywhere, even when there isn't a class near me or if I don't feel like leaving my living room. It's even build around the idea that alcohol is not required so literally anyone can enjoy this as a way to bond with others and lift each other up!

It was a great experience that isn't like any other yoga class I've ever taken. I always felt yoga was really slow paced for me so that's why I don't do it very often. With this class we played games, made jokes and drank some wine (but not too much). If you want a fun time and are maybe looking for some new friends then check this place out.

I was intimidated to try the whole yoga thing but drunk yoga made it so approachable and fun experience. Had such a great time that I brought it to my company as a team building workshop!! The instructors were truly phenomenal both times and everyone else truly enjoyed. Highly recommend!!

I did drink yoga at sunset on a beach front balcony in LA ... it doesn’t get much better than that.
I was excited about this class before I even got there. Eli was SO welcoming she broke the ice by making everyone feel so comfortable and relaxed.
As people started arriving our group got bigger and we were ready. Only one person had done drink yoga before and a couple hadn't done any type of yoga before.
The class was so fun, we laughed and cheered each other on while sipping wine, doing our poses and watching the sunset.
Such a feel good moment in a time when that sort of thing is really

Amazing class. Seriously i'm a big boy and doing yoga with a glass of wine in hand has potential for disaster. "Three women killed as linebacker crashes down in yoga class" - it was an absolute blast pretty sure I was twerking by the end of class. If you are looking for something that leaves you with a smile and introduces you to some new people I highly recommend this. Oh and as an added bonus the teachers were gorgeous and super sweet to the big dude in the back! Cassie and Eli are the best!

One of my girlfriends and I did Drunk Yoga with Eli at Drexler's in the East Village and it was both fun and, impressively, a good 45 minute practice. Eli was warm and welcoming and her backstory about how she started Drunk Yoga is inspiring. The wine was good, and also generously poured. If you're looking for a unique and fun way to try yoga, make new friends, or practice in a different environment, sign up and join her for a class!
