The beauty of anti-racist work is that you don't have to pretend to be free of racism to be an anti- racist. Anti-racism is the commitment to fight racism wherever you find it, including in yourself. And it's the only way forward.

I am so glad I found One Dharma. It is a great group of practitioners, and the guiding teacher, Lisa Ernst, has really helped me to integrate the teachings of Buddhism into my daily life. One Dharma offers a weekly sit and dharma talk, as well as weekly introductory classes, frequent topical classes, and seasonal retreats. I have found it to be an inviting and approachable space for beginners, but it also has people that have been practicing for decades, so there is a good mix of experience levels. I love it.

I have been involved in the Contemplative Arts for over thirty five years, practicing with various groups from various disciplines in several states.
Living now mostly in Nashville, I consider myself fortunate to have the opportunity to sit with One Dharma Sanga. I attend regular sessions which provide me with serious concentration work in a kind openhearted atmosphere. Lisa Ernst and her facilitators offer incisive talks followed by question and answer periods inclusive and relative to newcomers as well as seasoned practitioners experienced in any of the fields of Meditation Practice.
A solid

If you wish to take your practice beyond mindfulness, this is a great place to do it. The practices and teachings are accessible, and there is a dedicated community of experienced practitioners to talk with. Daylong and residential retreats are offered throughout the year, for those that want to deepen their practice. Lisa Ernst, the founder, teaches from her background of Zen and Insight (Vipassana) practice. They meet Tuesdays at 7pm to do meditation and listen to a Dharma talk, with a discussion to follow. Highly recommended.

I am so grateful to have found a Meditation Teacher who can help me develop my practice and integrate what I am learning in my live. I enjoy the group meditation session and hearing the expert and timely talks Lisa Ernst, or a guest Teacher, gives after the meditation sessions. A great community has formed here.

I attend One Dharma Nashville's main sit most Tuesday evenings. This is a great group for newcomers and experienced meditators alike. If you're a newbie, there's a short orientation before the sit where you're taught the basics of meditation and what to expect during the sit. Meditation cushions are provided and there are chairs available for those who prefer not to sit on the floor. The dharma talk after the sit is always good. Lisa Ernst is an excellent teacher with lots of wisdom and insight. She has helped take my meditation practice to the next level. Highly recommended!

The One Dharma meditation group is a welcoming and supportive community let by the compassionate teaching of Lisa Ernst. I have found the meditation and dharma talks to be both nourishing and challenging. If you're interested in learning more about meditation, I'd highly recommend checking out the weekly gathering!

One Dharma is a blessing to Nashville. The guiding teacher, Lisa Ernst, is wise and gentle with a teaching style that seamlessly bridges the Theravada and Mahayana traditions. One Dharma has a strong sangha of dedicated practitioners. If you are looking for a vipassana community to practice with or you would like to learn how to meditate, I would encourage you to check out One Dharma.
