Kate is seriously the best! I tried other stylists after starting with kate over the last 5 years and she has remained my favorite! Her attention to detail and knowledge about products is unmatched. She also… took my very dark brown hair to a beautiful blonde and back to dark again in the last couple of years. My hair is naturally super dry and she’s restored it to a voluminous masterpiece time and time again!!

My bridal party and I came in for our hair and makeup on 2/17/19. We had such a fun and wonderful experience. Both ladies were professional, funny and made us all feel so pretty. My girls and I loved our makeup and hair and I cant wait to go back in 3 weeks for a cut. I would recommend this pretty little shop for all your bridal needs or if you just want to get beautified!

Sara is amazing! I was referred by a friend and I’m extremely glad I booked with her. She was extremely thorough. I was going from a very light blonde to a darker brown. She took all the necessary steps to deposit color in first before depositing the brown to make sure it would adhere and turn out the true color. I was very impressed, she nailed it! The cut was perfect as well. There is now a lot of body to my hair, it doesn’t just look flat! I was mainly concerned about the thickness of my ends when it’s freshly cut. I decided to go with Last Satellite for my wedding day hair and makeup due to their excellent reviews, professional website, convenient location, and reasonable pricing. I booked the appointment with Kate. She was very responsive and professional. Unfortunately, there was a little bit of miscommunication. Kate scheduled each bridesmaid for individual appointment times, with me being last. When I had a complimentary consultation with Sara and Yona, the hair and makeup artists, one week before the wedding, they explained that it would be best for me and ALL the bridesmaids to come together and stay

Sara Sweeten is the best hair stylist I've ever had. I love how my curls just fall in the right place. I am all about effortless style and natural look. I don't need to blow dry it or do anything special to make it look good. Also love the brown color she uses, it looks vibrant and keeps my hair looking healthy. She totally gets what I want, but advises what works best with my hair and face. I feel so good about my hair. She is super genuine and great to be around. The salon has a good vibe and has free parking.

I needed someone who does amazing color work, so I asked my Facebook friends for recommendations. Kate's name came up and I loved the photos of her work she posted on instagram so I was excited to have her do my hair.
I've been seeing her since April and I've always left her salon feeling like a rockstar. She listens to my requests and takes pride in her work, always leaving my hair looking exactly how I envisioned, maybe even better. Kate Leatherwood was awesome! I live a little bit north, but while looking to treat myself to a nice haircut for my birthday, I perused the lovely photos from the salon's website and knew I had to get my butt down there!
Kate was exceptional. My hair is both thick and curly, and she gave me a cut that was less heavy for the warmer weather, but still long enough for me to pull it back if I need to. I have followed Dawn Hill around to every salon she's worked at because she is my stylist for life. And she just gave my sweet daughter the most perfect rainbow hair for the summer! Last Satellite is absolutely perfect too - super chill, comfy, welcoming and convenient (there's covered parking!). And what can I say about Dawn? She's a master… colorist and I love my hair color so much! Dawn has also worked on tours for major recording artists, music videos, film and so much more. I've been a client of Dawn Hill for several years ---She always works her magic on my hair and I enjoy her company for the time I'm in the salon. Dawn's an amazing stylist, she also advises me on how to dry and style hair, especially with my type of hair (thin)it's very difficult to control. I always come out of the salon looking amazing. Her talent's above the rest. I have never been disappointed with my haircut or highlights. I'll never go to another hairdresser again!! Can't recommend her highly enough!!!

Kate was amazing! I've struggled finding a stylist who is as good as Kate with color and highlights. She made sure to match my color perfectly and listen to exactly what I wanted. The highlights she gave me look incredible. She took her time and was meticulous giving me tiny natural looking highlights that blended perfectly with my previous blonde color. Her shop is the cutest little thing ever. I would HIGHLY recommend her.

The Last Satellite is a charming salon in The 704 building by Broken Spoke. I absolutely love coming to this salon because Kate always makes me feel at home while I am getting my hair done. She has been cutting my hair for quite some time now and always makes me happy! I don't feel nervous at all in her chair. She is a pro at hair cutting! Thanks Kate!!
