Mark and Elizabeth are the best. Have had many dealings with them over the years and it's always been a pleasure. Their work is first-rate and promptly delivered. If Mark and Todd can't fix it, it probably ain't broke.
I'm at a loss to explain the low ratings here, though I suspect they were written by students who have little experience of the world.

Absolute worst apartment experience I have ever had, please DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE WHAT SO EVER!
The entire unit was broken, from doors to appliances such as the fridge, and literally every single sink leaked, leaving a wet mess over the floor any time I used the sinks. The land lords do next to nothing to solve any issue, they are morbidly obese people who cannot care less because they get new tenants every year.
Let this be a warning never to rent from these people. The walls are paper thin. When I say I could hear everything, I mean EVERYTHING my neighbors did. If someone had a party

The worst apartment building I ever lived. First, the apartment is super old. The AC unit are loud like a motorcycle, as well as the refrigerator. Second, the unit has air leak everywhere. You can feel the cold air enter your room. I lived in a one bedroom apartment, the electric bill is extremely high due to the poor insulation and the low efficiency AC. So if you want to live here, make sure you consider the high electric bills. Third, the internet they provided is never work! 4th, the landlord is not responsible fixing the issues. I don't have window screen for the entire time, I have asked

Landlords were hostile, rude, and unresponsive. Despite following all the steps laid out to us, it took us 3 weeks to get a second key to the apartment. Our apartment had bats in the ceiling which occasionally escaped into the unit, which the landlords were aware of and failed to resolve. Additionally, the internet included with the apartment was so bad as to be essentially nonfunctioning, which the landlords also knew about and failed to resolve. We ended up having to purchase and install our own internet.

Liz and Michael (I believe...) were great during our lease at the 613 s Dubuque location. They were very understanding of normal wear and tear that other apartment companies in Iowa city would charge you for. They were also more than accommodating for any questions I had regarding my lease and deposit. I would have resigned my lease had I not graduated. Truly a gem especially when compared to ANC and apartments downtown.

When they fix the fan in the bedroom. Someone literately stepped on my bed with their shoes on. They left several footprints on my blanket and pillow. I don't know whether they are doing this on purpose or not, but the pillow they left footprint on was far away from the fan they were fixing. Every time I called them to fix a problem takes a long time (about a week or so) and if I give them a call, they would be very impatient and told me I should wait.
