My experience working with Craig and Lisa was excellent. Craig quickly responded to any inquiries, whether by phone or email, showing respect both for my time and money. He demonstrated concern for protecting my child, ensuring that he could not legally be removed from the state. I appreciate Craig's direct approach to providing feedback. Craig Cherney from the Canterbury Law Group very much disappointed us in his representation of us in a real estate ethics hearing dispute. Craig and his team did not seem to understand how an ethics hearing board operates so the hearing was a convoluted and chaotic mess. The team was unprepared, was consistently late with telecoms, and did not seem to care about our case at all. We wasted a lot of time and money on Craig and the Canterbury Law Group so please think twice about hiring this firm.

I have used Canterbury Law Group for two issues and consulted with them regarding a third and a forth issue over the last two plus years. I have found Craig and staff to be exceptionally responsive and knowledgeable, however the thing that I have found that sets them apart is that they are also pragmatic in seeking outcomes that are best for their clients, even at the sacrifice of fees for themselves.

I feel guilty that yelp only allows me to give 5 stars as I would give them 10 stars. I'm going through a heart breaking pet custody issue where my ex won't allow me to see the 2 dogs that he has been primary care giver too. As I am more financially stable than my ex I could have probably taken him to court and received primary custody of all dogs but I thought that would be cruel and mean and it backfired on me. I made the big mistake of letting him sign the paperwork for the dogs. I've reached out to many attorneys and some have been kind to give me their rates and general information

It's no wonder the first reviewer was just a friend; I question if all the others are too. The $3000 plus minimum retainer will probably get you nothing useful from their so-called service. What a waste of my money that would be, and not worth it once I got to know these people. The lawyers were full of themselves, egotistical and not genuine at all. Maybe that's just how most lawyers are but I would never want to deal with fake people. The one paralegal was nice enough but I could not stand either of the guys. One was on the short side and I definitely got a Napoleon complex vibe from

I went to E&C based on the yelp reviews and I was not dissapointed. They deserve all 5 stars and then some. I had some concerns around child support (ex is acting weird, but that is why they are ex's-correct? ) The office scheduled me a timely manner (immediate) and was flexi when I couldn't make the 1st meeting. Craig was sympathetic, uber professional and def a subject matter expert. He took his time to explain to me, what is what, and even gave me several strategic scenarios of how we could do the needful. All in all, I highly recommend and will def use in the future.

They told me I needed to begin with a retainer of $1000. They sent one letter, about two paragraphs long, to a court in L.A. to correct the status that showed on a file. They kept my entire $1000 for one form letter and will not return my phone calls. They steal from people.
