I moved to Charlotte from the West Coast 20+ years ago. I have a military background and worked uptown in corporate America before completing my degrees in Psychology, Sociology and Marriage and Family Therapy. In my free time, I gush over dogs on Instagram, enjoy sports and like taking pictures. My counseling style is a balance between challenging and cheer-leading.
I have a contemporary approach that's less theory oriented and more real talk. I'm not reclined in my chair with a monocle, analyzing your every move. I'm listening, I'm curious, I'm aware that behaviors make sense in context. I want to understand you and know what you want in life so we can figure out how to get there.

Couples Counseling can help with that. I speak man and woman-ese and will translate what your partner is trying to communicate. You will no longer feel criticized, taken for granted and misunderstood. We will discuss how to have effective conflict and communication, which will rebuild your connection to each other.
Your IG life looks good, but that's not the whole story. You're SO busy, and it's stressful, but it also helps you avoid feeling anxious, restless, exhausted and needy. When people ask how you are, you always say "fine" with a smile, but what you really mean is (F.I.N.E.) frustrated, insecure, neurotic and emotional!
The office is located at 224 East Blvd, Suite F, near the major intersection of South Blvd and East Blvd in the historic Dilworth Neighborhood. My suite is within Dilly Place, a set of yellow buildings with street and lot parking. At five minutes before your scheduled appointment, enter the center breezeway (pictured) and you'll see the door for the second floor of building 224 near the mailboxes.
At Harmony Psychotherapy, you get customized, personal care. This is not an agency or large hospital, but an independently owned and operated private practice. I've constructed my business to emphasize the personal relationship, not just the professional one. We go over the paperwork together. You will not have to create a portal, go online and electronically sign your name to a bunch of stuff you didn't really read.

I loved going to see Faith. She was a blessing when I was going through a tough time. I felt instantly comfortable with her and confident in her ability. Over the course of a year, I was really able to make progress in gaining insight into my poor boundaries, and she guided me through some tough decision-making that had to be done.

Faith is an exceptional therapist. She is professional, compassionate & has a variety of ways to help. As a professional, I feel confident referring any of my family & friends to her for treatment. She is a marriage & family therapist but is also competent in treating things like anxiety & depression that don’t really have anything to do with relationship issues. I highly recommend her!

I was so happy to see you were out on your own! Thank you for being so great to me and my family when we came to see you. Also, thank you for not making me leave my service animal home when we had our appointment. Anyone looking for an amazing therapist don't hesitate to call Faith! Thank you again for everything you do.

When my father told me he was giving you a review on here it reminded me that I had forgotten to as well despite saying I was going to the last few weeks! First, I can't thank you enough for helping my family like you have been. You treated and continue to treat my father, who is a all too often stubborn and rough around the edges semi-retired first responder with such dignity and respect and class that was/is second to none. You also helped me understand things he was going through at a more in depth and understandable way that I was blind to in a lot of senses. He has been raving about you ever
