This shop was Sold in Feb 2021, and Wayne is no longer the owner. In Dec 2020, I had $4500 of repair work done by Catalpa St BMW on my BMW X3 @ 98K miles (new water pump, 2 new thermostats at radiator and transmission cooler, new radiator, new radiator hoses, new valve cover and gasket, new oil filter and oil change, new oil pump and oil filter housing, new rear brakes and new rear rotors installed, AWD transmission service performed, new spark plugs installed, etc). Unfortunately, the cooling system had problems again, just 8 months later in August 2021, and the new owner was happy to fleece me

This is a very efficient and well managed shop.
It's located in the middle of lots of car garages. Google maps driving navigation might lead you to somewhere close but not the front of this shop, which was confusing for me the first time I was there. You'd have to use your own judgement where to turn, to actually get to their front door.
Other than that, this shop is perfect. They tell me on the phone how much time it'd take to do certain things, so I can budget my time appropriately when making an appointment. They even have a guest WIFI, so I can continue working on my laptop while waiting

I initially went to Catalpa to see about a well module issue and they ended up saving me money by reprogramming the module Instead of replacing the module. I was very happy with that service and took my MINI back in for an oil change. In both instances they exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend them for mini Cooper repairs.

I brought my 4 series to Catalpa after getting a laundry list type quote from the dealership that included $100 for “standard scope” (running a scan); new key battery, which isn’t needed; new wipers even though there’s no rain and I’m driving 3 miles a week in the pandemic; and spark plugs that are not due for another 20,000 miles.
Catalpa performed the work that was actually needed for roughly 43% less than the dealer’s quote with honesty, promptness, and professionalism.
