I was treated so well by the staff and have always experienced quality repairs at Mick’s. The team was able to find a replacement radiator and install it in a timely manner. So happy with how complete they are in assessing my car. Love the detailed communications. The only place to go for my Highlander.

I was referred to Mick's Automotive by a friend. My first experience there was excellent. Tracy identified the problem quickly and found a replacement part. I left incredibly satisfied and happy to have finally found a mechanic that would not take advantage of me- as a woman and someone who admittedly does not know much about cars.
I'm sorry to say my experiences with customer service and quality of service declined drastically after my first visit. A few days ago, I brought in my Toyota Camry to check the engine light. Bloo took notes but did not explain thoroughly that the diagnostic charge

Bloo and Tracy are really good at what they do; they CARE, give you there HONEST opinion and provide QUALITY SERVICE!! I bought a used vehicle and wanted to get it inspected to make sure the company I bought it from wasn’t selling me a lemon. After their inspection of my vehicle, they gave me a thorough rundown of what was good about the car and what needed to be attended to. Bloo (manager) told me to bring this up to the company I purchased the car from, which I did and they compensated me for the repairs. I truly trust Mick’s Automotive because of these guys passion for what they do.

Mick’s has been my go-to for my Honda-CRV for years, ever since I was taken advantage of somewhere else (I know nothing about cars so I’m an easy target!). They’ve saved my butt multiple times and they are so communicative and patient. I am currently living out of state and had to see a mechanic in Louisiana. Since I don’t trust anyone else, I called Micks and Tracy spent 45 minutes on the phone with me, going through the estimate and helping me figure out what work was actually necessary and where I was being overcharged. Y’all are the BEST!!!

I never felt pressured to proceed - but ultimately did - the work was done efficiently and we were pleased with the outcome.

Highly recommend Mick's Automotive. Our 2003 Prius needed a catalytic converter cover as well as a few other things. The part had to be ordered but arrived in just a few days. Took the car in and had it back that same day in great running shape. I appreciated the friendly, honest, efficient service! Will definitely bring our cars their for future service needs

My experience at Mick’s Automotive was extremely positive. First of all, the customer service was excellent, from my first contact with Laurie to the in-depth conversations with the mechanics who worked on my car. They took their time explaining what the issue was and how they were going to resolve it, patiently addressing my questions and concerns. Plus, as a surprise bonus, they cleaned my car inside and out! It was the best experience I have had in my long life of dealing with car maintenance. I highly recommend Mick’s Automotive if you have a Japanese car.

They installed a hitch on my Toyota Prius Prime. The people were very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Tracy explained to me the types of hitches and even made recommendations for a bike rack I wanted to use it for. The work was done within a few hours. The technician, Brian - I think, was also friendly and helpful. I am a happy customer! Glad to see a business like that in the neighborhood!

I've been a grateful client of Mick's Automotive since 2007! Tracy, Bloo, Brian, and the entire team go above and BEYOND to serve their customers. Tracy has helped me keep rats out of my engine, select two excellent used Toyota vans, and even install a security system for traveling with my dog in the car. WHAAAT? Above and beyond! Also... They always explain why something needs to be done to my car, whether or not it's optional, how I can cut down on costs, and never fail to answer all of my questions. I recommend Mick's Auto to anyone with a Japanese car in Santa Cruz or Silicon

So I haven't actually had work done at this shop. I was going to have them do some work on my car, but after talking with Tracy, he explained that what I wanted done wasn't actually useful or necessary. What refreshing honesty! So they didn't get my business today, but I wanted to reward them for their honesty, hence this review. I've heard great things from my friends who've had work done at Mick's, so seems like a prime shop.

Just a reminder of how great this shop is . I made an appointment a couple of weeks ago, when my loose power steering belt was squealing ,as I turned the steering wheel. That was an easy fix ,but as they checked the front end ,they found tie rods that were cracking . As they always do , they take photographs of what is wrong so you can see it,in your online report ,and make up your mind ,based on facts . They prioritize ,what should be done soon ,and what can wait. Never any pressure ,just factual info. Who else does that ? I trust them with my safety , and so should you. Very competent ,fair

Just had my first visit and repair done at Mick's, funny the owners name is Tracy? Regardless, it's great to see such a clean and very well organized shop. Top of the line. He was highly recommended by my good neighbor, and I now understand why. Tracy and his team were Very fair, fast and efficient. I am already spreading the news!

These folks are great! I had to have my 2006 Lexus towed here, as it died on me at the store. I had no experience with them before.... But Laurie, Bloo and Tracy were amazingly professional and communicative. They kept me super up to date with the cars' problems and their recommended fixes. Really can't recommend them enough, and they'll be my go-to place for my Lexus in the future!

I brought a car I was considering buying to Mick's Automotive to have it checked out before purchase. Mick's Auto gave me a thorough understanding of all the things I would need to do to make the car safe for my daughter.
