I followed Michelle from her previous workplace and am still just as happy with her services years later. She is so friendly and professional and makes the whole process of getting one's hair done as smooth as can be. Hair stylists are known for being easy to talk to, and Michelle is no exception. She communicates clearly, does great quality work, and makes sure you are happy with every little thing. Jax is a cute, friendly place too.

This morning was my 2nd visit with Michelle during Covid times. I have felt safe both times and I like to make the process even faster by washing my hair at home. Michelle is attentive and cuts well, I feel like she really takes into consideration my requests. Salon is cute & affordable. Parking is easy on the street. I highly recommend Michelle and Jax Cuts in general!

I was overdue for a haircut. I booked an appointment online with Melissa. When I arrived I was greeted by Melissa. The hair salon was very clean. Melissa was very bubbly and had such a lovely personality. She took off all my dead and gave me more volume. Very affordable and tons of parking close by. Thank you for my new cut. Will return :)

Was looking for a straightforward haircut, just needed a couple of inches trimmed off and my layers freshened up. Jack checked off all the boxes of what I needed and was super sweet to top it off. I'm very picky when it comes to finding stylists (eg personality match, price point, salon ambiance, sales tactics, etc.) I've lived in San Diego for almost 8 years, and I think I've finally found the right match.

I live around the corner and have seen this place for three years. But I have been very loyal to my regular hairstylist Mel. She recently moved here and I just came in for my weekly trim and I love the place. Such a fantastic vibe and friendly staff. And of course, Melissa is fantastic as always. When you find someone good- you stick with them. I'm so excited for her move and to be coming to Jax cuts now.

If you're looking for a new salon Jax Cuts is the place to go! The salon has a very inviting feel and the service is always amazing. Jack has cut my hair and my daughter's hair and I have been happy every single time. I've gone to many salons and the stylists seem to do what they want even when you give them specific instructions. Jack does exactly what the customer asks for . The prices are also incredible. All of the places I have been to are double and triple the cost . Jack provides quality hair cuts at an amazing price! I will definitely continue going to Jax Cuts!

I went to Jack about a year ago to get a trim. I had long, curly/wavy hair which was down to the middle of my back. A few weeks ago I decided that I wanted to have a shorter cut. I was afraid I would chicken out, and as I had put my hair into a long braid that morning, I cut the braid. 8 inches of it. Then I walked over to Jax to have my cut! I believe that this hair cut, now to the top of my shoulders, is one of the best cuts I have ever had!!! I forgot how curly my hair is when it is short. It is the perfect cut for the curls. I can even pull my hair back in a clip or short ponytail
