Linda's Pizzeria is a Traditional Classic New York Pizza the real way New York Pizza is supposed to taste. I lived near Linda's for several years and was a regular. This is the true definition of classic New York pizza. Living in Chicago now, I'm surrounded by the deep dish craze and people that don't know what real pizza is.

The dough is good but could be cooked longer, when the slices are warmed up, there is still a considerable amount of flop, its not crispy enough. Other than that, the pizza is typical NY style, and could use more sauce. Without the sauce, its very bland. I have been there a few times and the staff behind the counter hasnt always been the most welcoming... aka, "what do you want" "ok" "price" no thank you etc. If it wasnt for the cheap prices, I probably would go else where.

Authentic, thin crust pizza! They have ALL the toppings, so you can create a pizza to match your desire. Our personal favorite is spinach, onions, mushrooms and anchovies, because my partner doesn't eat meat but will eat fish. Sadly, many of our favorite pizza places have stopped carrying spinach and anchovies of late, and gone toward more 'traditional American" preferences for sausage and pepperoni. But I'm of Sicilian-Irish descent, and grew up on REAL, home made pizza, so I love the anchovies and the vegetables, with less cheese. Oh, and speaking of cheese, Linda's has a variety to choose from

Don’t let the atmosphere stop you from coming in. Simple pizza place (order at counter) produced our wonderful dinner last night! My calzone was one of the best I’ve ever eaten. Cooked perfectly and the ricotta cheese was flavorful along with pepperoni and green pepper. Philly steak n cheese pizza was surprisingly good as well!

43$ for delivery which right now i kind of understand. What i don't get is how people rate this pizza 4.4 out of 400 something reviews. Maybe i just got a bad pizza and wing combo but my eings came with no sauce at all. In fact i think the sauce might have been the grease from the fryer. And the best part of the pizza was............ not a thing like no love was put into this at all. So maybe ill tty it again but probably not.....

I hate to give a local business a bad rating but nothing in our $50 order was good. The pizza is so bland. The calzone was under baked & filled with too much melted ricotta.. barely any mozzarella or toppings. The wings were very lightly sauced but at least they were well done as requested. Unfortunately this was our 1st & last visit to Lindas.

Tried Linda's after my other pizza place did me dirty for the last time.
When I called Linda's for the first time, it was a breathe of fresh air. There were no automated voices, and the kid taking my order was kind. The food arrived when they said it would. Delivery driver was also kind, and he wore a mask for safety, which I appreciated. Pizza was delicious.
Ordered again tonight (for the fourth or fifth time). Food got here sooner than they estimated. As always, both the guy taking my order, and my driver were great. When the delivery guy handed my pizza off to me, he took a little

As much as I wanted to support this local business, I am sad I have to give them three stars. However their customer service was great on such a busy Friday night. I called them since I had clicked the wrong chicken wing order online for the sauce and they easily changed my order. The pizza came in a good amount of time for delivery. However when we opened up the box, the pizza was half burnt (see pic below)! We decided not to call them since we were hungry enough and on such a busy night, I guess some grace is needed but still, it is unacceptable that they delivered it at all. The garlic parm

As far as New York style pizza's go in Rochester, Linda's is pretty good. It will be even better with a little more ingredients. I ordered a large pizza with green peppers, mushrooms and onions. The crust was great. Better than great were the two guys behind the counter. Very friendly and helpful. Price was fine. I also ordered a set of hot wings (10 in a set) and asked for them to be crispy. Wings were perfect. Thank you Linda's.

Seriously good pizza. I'm so glad we followed Yelpers on this one.
Clearly a locals pizza hangout. It has a small town pizza place kinda feel when you walk in. We watched as locals poured in during lunch hour to grab pizza. Almost feels like a Cheers type of experience.
They provide counter service and at lunch they absolutely sell a ton of varieties by the slice and the price is very fair. As a family of four, we were able to experiment and try several different slices and every single one was better than the last. If we ever return to the area, this will definitely be a stop for us.

Yesterday I stopped by Linda's while on a photo shoot. I ordered my usual slice and it was good. The slices are thin , but tasty! Linda was there herself serving, polite and cheerful.
It was busy, a bunch of workman had like a small banquet table set up :), a family and kids were there, and a few of us single patrons.
The slice was $3.50. One of her employees told me that she now has discount Tuesday, slices are $2.50.
There's a few game machines for the kids and there's lots of parking spaces, and it's clean.

Ready to fold and eat.
I like their sauce, not too heavy and the thin NY style slices.
I have eaten the regular and pepperoni slices.
I need to try other items in the menu.
Do they have white pizza? My favorite.
They are open late compared to other eateries. So, a 9:00PM slice is on hand.
Always friendly.

Breakfast pizza was ordered for work. It was the least cheesey, least toppinged, cardboardish sheet pizzas. On the other hand the pie version was good, saucy, well topped and floppy. When I look at the pictures I took I think we'll jeeze there were noticeable toppings on the sheets but they were bland.

I ordered takeout from Linda's and so glad I finally tried this place. Great thin crust pizza! I went for the buffalo sauce - mild, plus additional bleu cheese on the side because it's the good stuff! The crust was a little tough so I liked having the bleu cheese to dip it in. The medium size comes with 8 generous slices. I liked that the chicken wasn't breaded and had good sized chunks on each slice, plus a perfect balance of buffalo sauce and mozz cheese. The mild had a low-key kick to it, just how I like it.
The combo specials, if you want wings, are a good option for a group

Linda McCartney originally owned this place, but people got tired of buying veggie pizzas from her (many Rochesteronianitesish people like to eat meat, and I do mean food meat and not sexy meat, although food can maybe be sexy depending on your opinion, but I severely digress), so she sold up and moved away and married Paulie Mac from Scouseland. The new owner, Linda Ronstadt, decided to make NY-style pizza with all sorts of meats. And the rest is history.
