I'm a Registered Dietitian who is passionate about supporting people in developing a nourishing relationship with food, movement, and their bodies. I strive to offer a safe and inclusive space for folks to explore patterns and origins of their disordered eating and exercise, as well as recover from body shame.
What if you wake up someday and you didn't go swimming in warm pools and oceans, you didn't travel, and you didn't follow where your heart wants you to go for all those years because you don't like your body; or you were just so caught up in perfectionism and people-pleasing that you forgot to have a big juicy creative life, of imagination and radical silliness and staring off into space like when you were a kid?
You may feel like you've tried everything when it comes to food and body, and still haven't found the thing. You might be overwhelmed, frustrated, and just plain tired. You're beginning to question all these fad diets because they have never really made you feel healthy and content like they promised.
Unlearning is challenging. Do not expect neat, tidy resolutions, or assume that we will instantly fix the world's ills in a single dialogue. We can, however, get closer to those goals if we are willing to be uncomfortable. You may have been told that you need to change your body in order to pursue the things that you value: health, a successful career, love, community, etc.
Whether you've been recently diagnosed or have gone years without support for the eating disorder, you deserve help. Living with an eating disorder can make you feel very alone. You want food and your body to take up less mental energy. Having an eating disorder is debilitating. You can't stop thinking about food and your body.

Katherine is an amazing RD!! She listens and cares so much about her patients and their wellbeing. She will completely change the way that you view your relationship with food and body image. After working with Katherine this summer for an internship experience, I came out of the internship a completely different person.
