Well maintained property when viewed from outside but cleanliness issues when it came to rent an apartment. The manager's inventory check list did not match on four categories the actual cleanliness condition of the apartment I had just rented: filthy tub, dirty windows, dirty front door, A/C low battery, dryer with no hose, a spider web on the kitchen's ceiling, and walls around the front door covered by dead pests.

Walker Woods offers so much for what you pay in rent. It's gated, has a pool, 24/7 access to gym, beautiful lake, and generous living spaces. I was offered a move-in gift too!
So it saddens me to write this review bc this place deserved 5 STARS. But their upper management/IT department is 1 STAR
I began my lease with my roommate on 12/07 but both my roommate and I couldn't access our online portal (wasn't our fault) to pay our move-in fees. I've already previously emailed upper management the day before our lease date12/06 so they were aware of our technical issues. "No problem" I thought, bc

It was my first time applying to an apartment with another person, and I had a really easy time with it. Gina was easy to talk to and laid all of the information out for us. I really appreciate their way of doing things there, no sneaky fees or an arm and leg to move in. The campus itself is beautiful and well maintained. It's very hard to find such a nice place in Vero that's not income restricted or senior living, nor will you find pet friendly many places! I hope someday soon to be living there!

I have lived at several apartment communities, but I can say, nothing like living at Walkers Wood. From the moment you enter the leasing office you already feel that you are right at home. The leasing office staff are awesome, very professional and respectful. The maintenance staff provide an excellent customer services. You put in a request for maintenance service and within 24 hours they come and take care of the repair needed in your home, sometimes on the same day. I highly recommend Walkers-Woods Apartment Homes.
