Bluprint fitness is the best; hands down! I hadn't worked out in a few years and was looking for a solution that would change that; insert Bluprint (Byron, Janelle and their team of coaches). Bluprint has helped me transition back to the active lifestyle that I was used to growing up playing sports and in college. After moving to a new city, I struggled to find balance with a demanding career, exercise, and nutrition. Bluprint is not just about the workout - they really challenge you to look at your whole health, working out included! I joined BPF during the pandemic a few months after my office and gym closed. Bluprint Fitness was the closest gym to my apartment and had great reviews. I didn't know at the time it was a CrossFit box, but it turned out to be a great surprise.
The intake process is a phone interview, goal setting, fitness baseline test and coach guidance for the first 6 weeks. After the 6 weeks, you assess your new baseline.
The box has superior cleanliness standards and protocols in place to ensure everyone feels safe.

I'm SO glad I found Bluprint and cannot recommend it enough! The coaching staff are wonderful and they have been so supportive and a tremendous help in getting me back into the grind after an injury that sidelined me. The environment is very inviting, friendly, and perfect for all levels of fitness. Also, the programming is challenging and varied and I have been really happy with the progress I've made. Oh AND the cute dogs of course.

As a busy professional, I struggled with consistently getting to the gym and writing my own workouts. The Bluprint programmed workouts took out all the guess work. Going into the gym is now the best part of my day.
The coaches do an amazing job explaining the movements and will work with you to get the most out of your workout no matter what your skill level may be. I’ve seen results and done movements that I never would have achieved on my own.

Amazing gym and great workouts! The staff here is incredibly friendly and extremely qualified! They know how to push you to the limit in the best way possible with your workouts. You will not leave disappointed! There are also quarterly goal setting sessions to keep you motivated and accountable. Byron and Janelle have created a family vibe as soon as you walk in the doors – I highly recommend checking this gym out.

Bluprint is the best fitness decision I’ve made in the week 11 years I’ve lived in Chicago. Byron and Janelle have found a way to treat every person at the gym like they are their only client and you always feel so welcomed and comfortable. LOVE LOVE LOVE my gym. Highly recommend if you're looking for a positive gym experience and don't know where to start. I never lifted weights a day in my life before going to Bluprint and the team was great about it. They made me feel so welcomed from the beginning and were very patient and took their time to explain everything and support me. Bluprint is a phenomenal gym for all levels of fitness. Bluprint helped me lose 27 lbs. before my wedding while still gaining strength and muscle mass. Byron and Janelle are the best and so are the rest of the trainers. They didn't baby me, and they didn't shame me either. They gave me the personal instruction and feedback that allowed me to be successful. On top of the physical results the GYM was fun; full of great people with a competitive but even more so supportive environment. This crossfit gym is amazing! It is an awesome environment, that motivates you to succeed and enables you to hold yourself accountable for your enhancements. The gym is diverse and nonjudgmental! The founders/owners/visionaries are all very welcoming, fair and committed to the passion of accurate crossfit training. The set up of the gym and it's programs is reasonable and allows you to determine your limitations and the coaches help you to exceed them! I love this gym! Check them out!

Being new to Crossfit (and not having the best luck with big box gyms in the past), I was a little nervous when I first reached out to Bluprint about becoming a member. After meeting Janelle, Byron and Selby during my first visit and fitness consultation, however, I new Bluprint was the right fit for me. Bluprint Fitness/Chi-Town CrossFit is the most positive, supportive and fun experience I've ever had in a gym. All of the staff were immediately welcoming, engaging, and seemed to genuinely care about my success. More surprising to me was their focus on proper form, effectively ensuring that all members build the necessary foundation to be successful in their gym, and crossfit as a whole. This focus on form, and the methods with which they taught them, is something that is unique to Bluprint, and was something I greatly appreciated.

I'm not a review writer. That being said, I am writing this because my experience at Bluprint has affected all aspects of my life in such a positive way, I just can't believe it! I've been coming to BluPrint for almost 2 years now, and I love this place . The owners, Byron and Janelle, along with Coach Selby, are incredibly welcoming, encouraging and knowledgable about health and fitness. Their gym community is filled with athletes who cheer each other on, and I can assure you, this is not a "bro" type CrossFit spot. This place is so great for so many reasons. First, from the get-go, the coaches will set you on a path to success. And they have the experience to keep you focused and on that path, to achieve your goals. Second, every workout is a great time. The energy here cannot be beat. There are a lot of laughs and good times, but at the end of the day the workout is incredible. I've been here for about 8 months now and I've never doubted that it was the place for me. I love the atmosphere, the people, the coaches and of course, Bacon, the cutest dog in the world. If I could give Bluprint and the coaching staff 12 stars I would. As a health care provider you see many different approaches to exercise and fitness. I can personally say that the training protocols and expertise of Byron, Janelle, Selby and Pat are unparalleled. I was highly skeptical of cross fit when I first signed up. "Im just going to hurt myself and waste a ton of money". Boy was I wrong. I've been a member for only 2 short months and I almost immediately knew upon walking in there that this is somewhere I want to be for the long haul. This is my first experience with any sort of gym membership and once I convinced myself to make the plunge and go check it out they made it extremely easy to get started, I never felt uncomfortable throughout any of the process. I just completed my first month and did my first 'official' Crossfit class yesterday. The owners, Byron and Janelle, put so much work into making this a positive and encouraging environment for people to push their fitness goals and realize potential.
