My laptop shutdown on me late one day in December. I found Scott and called, a bit panicked since all my work was there. He let me bring my computer over that afternoon and had it all fixed by the next morning.
Again this week I had a problem and he was able to diagnose it for me quickly. Why go anywhere else!

Scott was truly a god-send. After buying some RAM that I should have looked harder about compatibility with my motherboard, I ended up with a bricked motherboard and a LOT of frustration. I built my PC originally, but didn't have the time to do it all over again with a new motherboard.

As a new PC gamer I thought maintaining my gaming PC would be relatively easy: download games, complete system updates, and download/install the most recent drivers and you'll be set, boy was I wrong. My computer kept blue-screening. I finally called Geeks in Phoenix, and Scott was able to make time for me that very day. He was efficient and professional, and addressed both hardware and software issues. He explained everything he was doing to make sure I understood and would be able to do my own computer care. My daughter built a gaming desktop from scratch, but then it wouldn't start! So we went to Geeks in Phoenix. They were quickly available, and were able to fix the problem same day! Not only that, my daughter was walked through the work that needed to be done to fix it, so she got a good lesson on her computer! I'm very happy (and so is she). Had a very positive experience at Scott's establishment. He successfully replaced the battery in a laptop in about half an hour, and charged only a little more than half of what the Best Buy Geeks would have charged. It always feels good when you can support a small local business instead of a huge conglomerate! If you have a computer issue, I definitely recommend trying Geeks in Phoenix.

I found Scott on Yelp, based on his reviews. He works out of his home and is very professional and really seems to know what he's talking about. My computer has been running very slow and he did several diagnostic tests to see what was going on. After all of his time, and basically deciding that it's just time for a new computer, he didn't even charge me a fee (I did tip him). I would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs computer help.

I have a complex, one off, high-end gaming computer, used not for gaming but large video editing projects. ....and had confusing problems with it, restarting after shut-down, slow fire-up, loss of ability to print through wi-fi, and NOTHING acted as it should. So, called Scott at Geeks-in-Phoenix. He experienced more 'quirks' and did his usual in-depth analysis. The result was that he isolated an odd failure in the motherboard, unlike anything I could find from advisers on the net.

Can not recommend Scott and Geeks in Phoenix enough! He went above and beyond throughout the whole process to fix my laptop- communicating whenever there was an important update or asking what course of action I'd like to proceed with, price matching a part to get a lower price and even making sure I had all the information for the warranty of the new part so I wouldn't have to face any hassle in the future. It was also only about 24 hours that my laptop was fixed! It's running like new now and I can pretty much guarantee I would have paid an arm and a leg more at a different place

Scott really saved me! My computer was completely locked out with ransomware. Thought I was going to have to buy a new system and just lose everything. Instead he got it cleaned up and running again without losing one thing. And since I forgot to write this review for about a year now, I can say the repairs have held up! Scott is as knowledgeable and honest as they come. I had a problem with my laptop that he diagnosed and fixed within about 2 minutes. It was such a simple fix that he didn't charge me. I would have been happy to pay him, and fully intended to pay him, but he would't hear of it. He is outstanding on repairs, honest, and would recommend him without reservation. Thanks Scott!

If you're reading this, you probably alot like me, struggling with a computer problem. Look no further than Scott at Geeks in Phoenix to set everything right. Scott completely restored my computer to functionality; and, he SAVED MY DATA. He diagnosed bad sectors on the hard drive where OS files are stored; copied the drive, re-installed windows, downloaded drivers, and restored my data. After shutting off the power to replace two ceiling fans, my desktop PC (HP Pavillion) would not power up. Over the phone Scott diagnosed it as a possible faulty power supply and asked me to bring it in, so I did. Scott was able to see several swollen capacitors on the motherboard...not good! I needed a new motherboard and power supply. I decided to buy a new computer and left for Fry's Electronics.
