Grow With Us Academy is a model preschool for Conscious Discipline and is the foundation of our entire program. Our exclusive program focuses on teaching the WHOLE CHILD (family included): socially, emotionally, physically and cognitively. We base our curriculum on a combination of different curriculums with a strong focus on High Scope (play-based, child-centered, and grounded in research).
Here at Grow With Us Academy, we strive to provide the best school environment for children so they can learn at their highest potential. The preschool founder, Mindy Becker, is a Loving Guidance Associate and National Conscious Discipline Certified Instructor who has presented both in the United States and Internationally, including at conferences such as NAEYC.
Grow With Us Academy is a first-of-its-kind preschool for children ages 2-5 years old; it is a home away from home where each child is an important part of our "School Family". Our focus is on the social and emotional development of children to ensure they are learning at their highest potential.

With so many studies saying emotional health is a leading indicator of future success, I really did not want to just "wing it" when raising my son. I've now taken two of Mindy's workshops and our son has been with Grow With us for almost two years. I have learned so much and watched my son adapt to school with ease. The workshops are practical and gave me the tools to handle most parenting situations. Mindy and all her teachers are amazing, open, and great coaches for both parents and kids.

This school is by far superior to any learning center in miami. Mindy Baker created an environment where children learn, explore, and socialize with proper guidance and care. the key word here is "care." Children need to be nurtured in order to succeed in developing cognitive, developmental fine and motor skills. Grow with Us Academy provides the aforementionedand more!. We are so grateful to have found Mindy and her school. Mindy’s classes have been the best investment we have made on ourselves and our children. We would recommend her courses to all parents and children - no matter the age or experience parenting. Her courses helped give us the tools to manage the emotional mayhem we experience at home in a loving, kind, and effective way. My wife and I did a three day Zoom class with Mindy @ GWS Academy. As a first time parent, Mindy did a great job of helping us understand our impending birth + baby raising in digestible bite size morsels of goodness. Came way with a FEW Major tips to improve our day to day and tons of small insights that will help this process for us.

We really enjoyed the Expecting Parents class! Mindy's wealth of experience and caring spirit have already started to benefit us even during the pregnancy. We're practicing taking breaths and doing other exercises she taught us to feel more calm and prepared for our little one. We definitely recommend this class to other future parents!

We are so grateful Ms. Mindy is offering online learning for our 2-yr old. We were hesitant due to concerns over screen time but it’s been so fun and interactive - a welcome bright spot in COVID Life. Our little girl sings, draws, dances and plays throughout the class. The activities give me plenty to build on outside of class. She even is learning the names of her classmates. It is as close to and as enriching as in-person learning as I can imagine.

My daughter and I have had the most wonderful experience with Grow With Us’s Virtual Summer Camp. Quarantine with a 3-year-old is challenging enough, but trying to successfully homeschool Pre-K online has been a whole new level of difficult. However, GWU virtual camp offers a level of predictability, socialization and connection I didn’t think was possible online (particularly preschool). Mindy is an exceptional parent educator. I love how she effectively uses the zoom platform to reach out to parents and gives us tools that we can put into place right away. The strategies not only have helped me grow as a parent but have also coached cooperation in our children. The brain based approach and cognitive skills I have learned have absolutely enabled me to be a better parent and a better human. I enrolled my two year old daughter in their summer program for 6 weeks and she absolutely loved it. I actually was not looking to put her in school just yet but I saw tremendous growth in her social development and decided to enroll her for the year. Conscious Discipline actually works! It's something that you don't believe until you witness it for yourself! The teachers are truly caring, patient and loving. I have been attending parent workshops at Grow With Us for almost 3 years and my son has been attending the school for about a year. Its truly a special and nurturing place that focuses on academics, but more importantly the social emotional needs of a child. Conflict is always approached as an opportunity to teach rather than an opportunity to ignore, scold or place a child in time out like other schools. I just have to say that there is no preschool like Grow With Us! This is the best preschool EVER! I started out with Mommy and Me classes here when my daughter Sienna was only 4 months old! And she went all the way through PK 4! We have loved every single minute of it!
