T was AMAZING!! I called her for a last minute shoot for myself (I'm a photographer and was getting my portraits done.) I had seen that her and . her team do a lot of on-screen & commercial work so I knew she would be perfect for my needs & she totally exceeded them. Arrived early and SLAYED with my makeup. I got so many compliments throughout the day and more importantly, it looked so natural and just like "me." I don't wear a lot of makeup at all and T gave me a classic, very natural look that didn't make me feel like someone else, but was still an elevated feel and clean for the camera. She

These women were an absolute dream team!! I booked them for graduation and gave them a vague "maybe something retro?" And they turned me into a full on 50's pin up girl! I feel so glamorous, it's perfect for my outfit and it saved me the hassle of stressing over my hair and makeup. My finished look is beyond what I had hoped for and they were prompt, fun and friendly. I will absolutely book them again for a special occasion!!

I had Stephanie from Metro Look come to my hotel to do my make-up for an event. She was very professional, punctual and did a beautiful job.
She spent quite a bit of time and came with a complete pro kit. I would definitely use this service again and request Stephanie. I found them on Yelp and took a chance that worked out well. From the beginning they were very easy to communicate with to set up the appointment.
Professional makeup is never inexpensive but it seemed reasonable especially since she came to my hotel.

Loved my makeup that was done by Dana for the Britney Spears concert! She totally got the look I was going for and made my eyes pop! It was so glam and pretty, but not overdone. She's super cool and sweet and was a pleasure to work with. She also came even though I got ahold of them very last minute. I would totally recommend using them for any of your makeup needs! I'll be calling next time I'm in NYC for sure!

T is an incredible make up artist and will make you look gorgeous, whether it's a natural look or full on glam. She is your girl for all things beauty! She did my makeup for a gala and it was perfect. Not only is she friendly, warm and knowledgeable but she will listen to what you want beauty-wise and make changes to your personal preference. T is as good at it gets! I contacted her a few months back when I was in dire need of someone to do my hair for my brother's wedding. I am a black woman with natural, coarse hair -- so I needed someone who iss familiar with the texture but could achieve a smooth look. I also needed her to do my mother's hair (also black and natural) and 3-year old daughter's hair (who is biracial) -- so she needed to handle multiple styles! Dana and T were AWESOME! I am so glad that they were recommended for on-location hair and makeup by my wedding planner. They took care of three generations of my family at my hotel - my mother, tween stepdaughter and me. T is a true artist who translates your inner beauty and desire into the look you are after. She did such a good that I didn't want to take my look off. From start to finish, Dana was amazing to work with for my wedding make-up. She was easy to communicate with and always responsive. She came to me for my trial which made things easy. My make-up was exactly what I wanted and lasted through the whole day and evening. She's really cool and has a great vibe as well--I highly recommend!

Things go wrong on your wedding day, and the only thing that kept me smiling and confident through my missing veil and forgotten marriage license was the fact that I felt absolutely gorgeous due to T's fine work (and of course because I married the best guy ever). T did my hair and makeup and both looked perfect. Dana did my mom and sisters' make up and they looked beautiful as well. I absolutely recommend !!!!!!!

Metro Look recently did hair and makeup at my wedding and I highly recommend hiring them for any event. My entire wedding party including the mothers looked fabulous and we all had a blast. I live in the city but got married in the Hudson Valley. Having Metro Look being based in NYC made my trials super convenient yet they showed up right on time on my wedding day and worked very quickly. Dana and T (And Dorothy) were very prepared and were on top of their game. After months of pinterest and browsing #weddingupdo, I couldn't be happier with the way it all turned out!

WOW... Professional, amazing stylist from make up to hair as well as a joy to be around from the pre wedding trails to the day of getting ready at The Pratt House. Dana, T and the staff were just fantastic for Laura, the bride , her 5 bridesmaids, 3 grandma's and me, the mom.

T is amazing!!! Not only she put my look at the best in my city hall wedding day, she did my mom's make up and my mom loved her!!! I did a trail before my day and T absolutely nailed the look I wanted and did it better. T was amazing! I used her for a photo shoot where she did my hair and makeup. She make me look like a supermodel without looking overdone. She was fun, personable and the most important TALENTED! She gave me some makeup tips and products that don't break the bank.

Arrived in NYC from out of town and needed hair and makeup done on a Monday - the day most salons are closed.
Called Metro Look a few days in advance and made an appointment with T. who came to my hotel and did the absolute best hair and makeup job I have ever had - and I have had quite a few lately for high profile events. I could not recommend her more - super courteous, perfectly on time, going above and beyond.

T is awesome! She knew exactly what I was looking for even though I wasn't quite sure myself as I was too nervous about my shoot already. She made me look sexy while keeping it natural and not overdoing it. If you need a real makeup artist/specialist who's serious about her work and highlighting your features, T is your girl. I got married in Central Park last week, and coming from out of state, finding a good makeup artist and hair stylist was a little tricky. The makeup artist at my first trial made my skin look cakey and I felt rushed. My friend told me her sister used Metro Look at her wedding, so I decided to give them a try. I'm so happy I did! My pictures look AMAZING and their team was very professional.
