The 2222 Veterinary Clinic is a full service small animal veterinary hospital equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment tools. Our knowledgeable, caring staff strives to provide the best care for your loved ones. Our comprehensive services range from routine wellness exams and vaccinations to critical care and surgery.
Regular bathing can not only help your pet smell better, but it can also help their skin and coat remain healthy. Bathing helps to reduce excess oils and dandruff. Our baths also include a nail trim, anal gland expression, and ear cleaning to further help with the overall health of your beloved pet.
Pets can have a wide variety of behavioral issues, from simple housetraining problems to severe anxiety and aggression issues. We are well qualified and experienced in diagnosing and addressing behavior problems with an approach that combines skills from veterinary clinical medicine, behavioral medicine, and pet training.
We are pleased to offer boarding for your loved ones. The time away from home can be stressful for any family member, and your cat is not an exception to the rule. To minimize this stress we offer multiple services that are included with all cats staying with us. All cats will be in a condo that enables natural light into their kennel and a view of outside.

Super sweet staff as one might expect (or hope for). They are a top tier place as far as the standard of vets goes. Service is quick, prices are reasonable, and help is plentiful. The vet had a very personalized and genuine approach when working with our pup and I only wish most doctors would display that kind of bedside manner. Y'all know what I'm talking about. Unless a move occurs we're not likely to seek veterinary services elsewhere. Shout out to the team they have, that's really the crown jewel.

We just had our first visit at 2222 Veterinary Clinic a few days ago.
The front desk and vet tech made our Bentley and I feel very comfortable from the start . The doctor called me with the diagnosis of ear infection and explanation of the treatment options. She took time to answer multiple questions . Few days later our pup is back to normal.
We appreciate the care , attention and support from the clinic staff .
Just to add , the clinic location is very convenient to get to , plenty of parking and there is a small bakery next door if you require a comfort food while your pet is being treated

Everything was perfect! I took my 14 year old dachshund in for a senior check up and dental exam. The receptionists and vet techs were loving on my dog the second we walked in which, to me, is a great sign! The doctor was very informative and listened to me explain my dogās medical history as well as answered any questions I had. I admitted I was a bit worried about sedating my dog for teeth cleaning due to her age but they explained that they use a safer anesthesia for older dogs which eased my mind! She even gave recommendations on how to best keep my girlās teeth clean between vet visits

My dogs have been patients of Dr. Mindi Metzler and Dr. Frank Metlzer for years, and I don't know how it's taken me so long to write a review for them; they deserve all of the 5-star reviews they have. Dr. Song is my hero. Because of his attention to detail and authentic care for his patients, he caught a life threatening condition that I am certain would have been missed had I gone to another vet since my dog presented as very healthy aside from a small cough. Had he not caught it, I could have lost my pup within a month or days. Love Dr. Mindi, Dr. Frank, and the 2222 Vet team. I've been seeing the Metzlers for years, including routine and non-routine care for my older lab mix. Dr. Mindi was a huge help in deciding whether or not to perform surgery after identifying a mass on her liver when she was 10, and she was also a wonderful help in evaluating when it was time to put her down when she was 13. Frank was amazing, extremely professional and knowledgeable. He spent over an hour explaining all the details on how to take care of our new English golden retriever puppy.

I love 2222 Vet Clinic! Dr. Mindy was wonderful in explaining my cat's illness and prognosis. She was 12 and had elevated liver enzymes which was probably liver cancer. Her liver was not producing enzymes to break down food and turn it into energy etc.We even spoke after hours! I cannot say enough wonderful things about this group of DVM's. They have seen my dog too! Within the month, her yak's became more frequent and she lost more weight, so I had to make the tough decision and she crossed over to cat-nip heaven. Thank you again, 2222 Vet Clinic!

I brought my dog here when I first moved to Austin 3 years ago. Shortly after moving, she got an intestinal bug that required her to stay overnight for a few days to get fluids. I cannot say enough good things about this place-- I had initially brought her to the emergency vet clinic off 2222 when she wouldn't stop vomiting, and received a call from Dr Mindi the very next day to follow up. She did such a great job with Ellie another time when I had to make a last-minute appointment that led to a tooth extraction. Absolutely incredible vet clinic. I had to euthanize my Great Dane and the entire staff went ABOVE AND BEYOND. They did the little things like walking out to the parking lot to help me, opening the doors, greeting my big guy and making him feel loved throughout the process. They never left his side throughout the process. Bedside manners aren't something you can truly appreciate until you've had a bad experience (which I did at a different clinic). I've had some extremely unpleasant vet visits where I assumed I was over charged through unnecessary services and that was not at all

We saw Dr. Mindi for a lump that was previously diagnosed as my dogs microchip. Dr. Mindi knew better. She spent lots of time with us and we had good laughs about other things. She is so personable and caring. From the front desk staff to the doctor I was very impressed!!
