Services
You work hard to ensure that your furry family member has the best possible life. That's why partnering with a veterinary provider who genuinely cares for you both is so important. At West Lynn Veterinary Clinic, we are proud to offer a comprehensive range of services to address your pet's specific veterinary needs.
Your pet's health is always our number one priority, which is why for most pets we recommend annual wellness exams to ensure that your animal companion remains in good health. If your pet is a senior-over seven for dogs, over nine for cats-we strongly suggest twice-yearly exams and blood screenings.
Imagine if you never brushed your teeth or had them cleaned. Pretty frightening, right? As you can imagine, things would eventually start to go very, very bad inside your mouth: teeth would rot and decay, gums would become inflamed and infected. Bacteria from those rotting teeth would eventually travel into your bloodstream and could cause other serious health problems.
One of the worst feelings to experience as a pet owner is a realization that your pet has gone missing. Only 17% of runaway dogs and 2% of cats make it back to their owners-which can make it feel like you'll never see your pet again if they get lost. West Lynn Veterinary Clinic wants to encourage you to consider microchipping your pet, even if they live entirely indoors-because even indoor pets can escape and become lost.
Every year thousands of stray and unwanted animals are euthanized in shelters across the United States. Many of these deaths are the avoidable result of owners failing to spay and neuter their pets. Even if you keep a close watch on your pet, accidents happen, and unexpected offspring mean more animals that won't be given the chance at full, happy lives.

Sadly, I had to transfer vets after 6 years. The last 6-8 months Ive noticed a big shift in service. I had quite a bit of trouble getting anyone to call me back after serval attempts to schedule an appt for a vaccine. Multiple times, I felt the staff pushed unnecessary procedures. For Example, my dog had a UTI and without explaining the pricing of the treatment plan they gave her an X Ray and my vet bill was $500. Ultimately, I lost trust in this clinic and transfer to BlueBonnet on Riverside.

PLEASE re-consider before taking your pet here for pet care.
We took our elderly cat in for a checkup 06/16/2021.
The whole thing is just really weird.
We were running a bit late and so we called to let the Vet know.
She said if we were more than 15 mins late, we would have to cancel.
We get there just in time to find the front door locked as they left US waiting in the heat. I had to knock really to get someone's attn as the door was locked. Finally, an assistant came out, got our cat and as we started to follow, were told we were not allowed in. No one was except the pet.

I used to recommend West Lynn Vet to my friends and coworkers, but over the last year their service and care has dramatically decreased. A few times we've gotten lucky with one of the vets who provided great care and insight for our pups, but most of the time we were left with the administrative staff telling us that the vet is unavailable to speak with us and it's completely obvious they just want to get off the phone, often rudely. There's been many times where we were waiting for a call back that never came. They have also tried to keep charging us for "check-ups" that weren't necessary, running

I was able to get my dog an appointment quickly after calling around to a few vets in the West End/Clarksville area. The staff was extremely helpful and caring for his needs as a new patient of the clinic. The doctor was very thorough in explaining the vaccinations and anything I could anticipate as summer nears. Luckily, this is within walking distance from my new residence and I plan to maintain West Lynn as my primary veterinarian.

I cannot say enough positive things about West Lynn Vet Clinic. My pup is only 6 1/2 months old and has already been there many times and every single time I have gone, they have been nothing short of amazing. My dog even gets excited to go into the clinic whenever we are there and that to me is a sign that it's a great place! From the Front desk staff to the vet techs to the actual doctors everyone is so so nice. I have had to call in the past to ask random questions and they are always eager to get me an answer and I appreciate that. They also will call to check up on my dog after any time I

West Lynn Vet has been my vet for at least seven years. I'm always going pleased with their services but especially grateful today. I called with an emergency and was told to come right in. An hour later I'm back home with a diagnosis and medication for my dog. The staff is so caring and attentive especially to an older dog. I've been a dog owner for 30 years and been to many vets. But these people are the very best in class.

Really wonderful clinic!
Helped us run a chip scan for a wandering kitty at no cost on same-day, with super efficient drive up service for covid protocol.
Very helpful staff on both phone and in person... you could tell everyone truly cared about making sure that Mr. Sunshine made it back home safely

Truly a wonderful vet. I never felt rushed or brushed off, and I can tell every staff member truly loves animals. In these crazy times, they put me at ease. They are a little more pricey than other vets, but I would recommend the budget-conscious work out a plan or use insurance to get seen here, it's worth it!

I recently transferred my fur baby to West Lynn and all I can say is wow, what a difference!! I took my dog Rudy in today for stomach issues and was back home within the hour! The Dr was super informative and kept me updated w phone calls, from her, as she examined Rudy. Everyone was very kind and the no contact appointment was seamless and a wonderful experience. Pricing was extremely affordable and I will be a customer for life! Thank you West Lynn for taking such great care of Rudy, he’s feeling better already!! ♥️🐶

Let me start off by saying I've been an extremely loyal customer of West Lynn since early 2013 and have had 4 dogs seen by their great Vets. Recently went in with an appointment to finish a vaccine shot and while there requested a bandage for my dogs happy tail issue. (The technicians do these and it's just for padding support when it hits the wall) They had previously put a bandage on a few weeks prior but it had only lasted an hour before it fell off. Was told they wouldn't rebandage without scheduling another visit and paying to see a vet. This was just a bandage, nothing

If you are looking for an absolutely amazing Vet for your furbabbies. I have found the place. Dr Rodriguez is unbelievable. My Dog had some surgeries yesterday & I couldn't have asked for more awesome service. They handled her with all the love as if she was their own, Dr Rodriguez even handled the crazy freaked out Dogmom 🙋♀️ & they followed up this morning to see how we were doing. Huge shout out for amazing service.

We have been satisfied customers of West Lynn Vet Clinic since moving to Austin and have always appreciated the quality care our puppy received. The hardest thing to do, to put an end to your pet's suffering, was made endurable by the staff at West Lynn. After surgery, chemotherapy treatment and much love, our dear puppy Zin was unable to fight cancer any longer. Dr. Whitworth and the team at West Lynn worked with us throughout the process of treatment to make it understandable for us and the least traumatic to our puppy. At the end, the compassion and caring expressed by all truly helped

Highly recommend West Lynn Veterinary Clinic, always super friendly and makes vet visits very easy. Especially would like to thank Dr Moore. Who went above and beyond to facilitate our travel certificates to the UK. We have been taking our pup there since she was born at APA three years ago and we have been sending friends there ever since who have also all had great experiences!

I just want to say that Dr. Rodriguez at West Lynn Vet was amazing to our family this past year. She diagnosed a rare condition that had negatively altered our dog's behavior, demeanor, body and enjoyment of life. It had stumped two other vets and cost us a lot of money. They seemed to want to do endless tests and try endless things that never helped. Dr. Rodriguez took one look at her and knew. She seemingly miraculously gave us a lot of our old Sophie back. It was seriously was like living through one of the medical mystery stories in the New York Times Magazine.

Run, walk drive here. Can't get better care, with true animal people. West Lynn Veterinary Clinic is the best. Thank you, to all the docs. Max needs care that isn't always understood. I advocated, and you became my partners in it all. GREAT result!
Special shout out to the techs. Yes, um, Max doesn't love to have his feet touched, does he? You are all so wonderful to him, for that simple service of nail clipping. Know how to do it gently, smartly and efficient. I so appreciate it all.
Drs. Angie, Deborah and Sarah- all of you have done nothing but provide me and Max with the best

We love everyone at West Lynn Vet Clinic - 10 stars if we could give it. They take the time and energy to always go the extra mile, to make sure our little ones (Two maltese) have the best care and are healthy and managing everything that comes their way. Boarding is awesome, and they are always quick, efficient, and open to questions. A wonderful place to take your pets - yes, yes, yes!

These guys are just so amazing and I trust the team so much. The whole team feels like a family. I love Dr. Crawford and Whitworth ! And since I work so much I am most happy with the vets concern with helping me when I can't physically get in where most vets in the past just refuse to help over the phone.. Even if it's just with care till I can get there. These actions all compound to the team wanting what's best for the animal. That is pretty cool. ;) I've never felt this way with a vet and I've had my toy yorkie for 10 years.
