I’ve been bringing my cat here for check-ups since I adopted him as a kitten. They’ve always been great and so professional. Recently, some tooth resorption was found in my little guy during his annual exam and we went forward with booking a surgery to extract the affected teeth. I can’t say enough about how great the LABAH team was throughout the entire process, from pre-surgery bloodwork to day of surgery and follow-up, I felt at ease and like my boy was in the best care possible. I've only had awesome experiences here. Everyone is super friendly, the vets all go in-depth with me after the visit and explain everything really well. They may not be the cheapest but I feel it's reasonable and I think they really care about my dog.

I highly recommend this place. It's not a cold in and out hospital but rather a warm and welcoming place. No dog likes the vet, but what I find most reassuring is the doctors are very gentle and always do their best to make sure the process is as painless as possible for the animal. The doctors are thorough and always discuss what's best for your dog and not just what will make them the most money. They are also dog owners themselves and have been through it all. So not only are they professionally trained but also speak from their personal experience. I have never been given any bad advice. I

This is the vet I’ve been looking for since I moved to Austin 11 years ago! I’ve tried several in the city that ended up not being for me and my dogs so I decided to give these guys a try and I am not disappointed! Everyone that works here is genuinely super nice and friendly (which is really important to me). Everyone that helped me was super nice and reassuring when I was worried about my cat! The vet was awesome she talked us thru everything that could be going on with my cats inflamed eye, and with the treatment they offered he was back to normal in a couple days. They even called three days after the appointment to check on him :) great service, best vet I’ve been to in Austin!

We are fairly new to Austin and I am so thankful to have found Lake Austin Blvd Animal Hospital. I love this vet clinic. All of there staff are very friendly and personable. The Vets and Vet techs have great bed side manner. They intently listened to my concerns about my dog and provided much needed information for her treatment. The Vet techs are very patient and calm. I can’t say enough good things about LABAH. I have been there several times in the past few months and the service has been incredible every time. The whole team is always friendly and helpful. Dr. Moore is very thorough and knowledgeable. When I had an emergency with my dog, they were able to take her in right away and give her the care she needed. I love this place and am so so thankful for all that they’ve done for me and and my pup!

APA! recommended that I come here for my first visit after adopting my cat.. I wanted to see Dr Honeycutt but when I got there I saw Dr Moore... Big mistake... Upon entering the room she said that she was in a rush.. She barely examined my cat , threw a lot of information at me and did NOT write anything done and was annoyed when I was using my phone to try and take notes.. She also prescribed some heartworm medication but never tested for heartworm so I did not fill it.. I have since found another vet and informed APA! about my experience...

Extremely grateful for LABAH! I brought my dog here for a second opinion after being told that surgery was the only way to diagnose the issue. Dr. Spitz, Dr. Kelly and team were extremely thorough and determined that Augie had an autoimmune disease which could be kept under control with a combination of fish oil and vitamins. No surgery was needed and Augie is happy and healthy two and a half years later. We love coming here!

Just wanted to say how much we've appreciated the care our guy Humphrey has been getting at LABAH! He's an old guy now and I appreciate that it's been easy to schedule appointments right away when he's not feeling his best. Also, I'm grateful for the online prescription ordering, since he's now on regular arthritis meds. Thanks!
