Pedal Bike Tours
We are offering all tours with small modifications. We require unvaccinated guests to wear masks throughout the tour unless eating or biking stretches away from others. We appreciate people wearing masks in the vans on the Columbia River Gorge Tour. During the donut and beer tours, there might be more goods from less shops as staffing hours fluctuate.

We are in small groups, mostly in the outdoors. Our staff will work hard to minimize social contact and disinfect helmets even more diligently than we already have been. We appreciate early cancellations should travel plans change. We are happy to reschedule tours if you would like to postpone. We appreciate your understanding and want everyone to stay safe.
Services
Standard Tune-Up includes adjustment of brakes, derailers, hubs, bottom bracket, headset; complete wheel true; cleaning of frame; and a thorough cleaning and lubrication of drivetrain. Parts are extra. We ask for a $20 parts allowance for tune-ups. Additional services or parts needed beyond the $20 allowance require verbal authorization.
Hop on a bike for an easy, fun and safe spin through the city's history, food, and architecture. We offer guided tours that highlight unique attributes and interesting neighborhoods, as well as bicycle rentals. Take a leisurely ride with Pedal Bike Tours to see several of the 40 microbreweries and brewpubs that make Portland "Beervana" and get to know America's bicycle capital like a local!
Whether you want to go fast or just cruise, we have a great selection of city bikes, fitness bikes, tandems, kids bikes, trailers, and tagalongs. We have plenty of bikes to rent, however availability is dependent upon the season and special events. All rentals include a helmet, lock, bike map, and lots of friendly advice on where to ride to enjoy Portland, Oregon.
The city itself is beautiful, and the ever-expanding bike infrastructure makes for safe and pleasant riding. And it is a city full of bicyclists: 40% of residents bike recreationally and nearly 10% commute to work daily on bike. No wonder Bicycling magazine regularly names it one of the top cities to bike in America!
How fit should I be? (Do I have to be Lance?) If you can ride a bicycle at a leisurely pace for 2-3 hours over 8-10 miles, stopping often to see the sights and enjoy the views, then you're fit enough. Do I tip the guide? Like many people who work at something they love, the pay is minimal so yes, our guides do appreciate a little green love.

We took the doughnut biking tour. It was great. Todd told us all the great things about Portland. We had some great doughnuts. It was perfect for my teenage son who is in great shape, and the less in shape members of our group. Todd accommodated us all.
I can't recommend this enough.

Great beer and bike tour with Mason yesterday. Enthusiastic guide, dandy beers, hand selected at each stop. What a great way to check out some local favorites (not just the national brands). Thank you Pedal Bike Tours.

This is a great way to see the city quickly and with an expert guide! In just a few short hours we rode through 4 quadrants of the city, over 2 bridges and saw many awesome sites. Our guide was very accommodating and knowledgeable. Don't worry about difficulty... this is easy riding on mostly flat roads and trails. If you're new to the city of visiting, check it out. P.S. we did this during COVID. The shop wore masks and practiced social distancing. Big thumbs up!

Had the intro to downtown Portland bike tour during our short visit to the west coast and it was the best decision we could've made. Jamie was our tour guide and he was very knowledgeable and friendly and kept the atmosphere fun as he took us from historical Portland to modern day.

Definitely a great activity to get to know PDX better! Highly recommend it!

Amazing tour of Portland! Rode across bridges, alongside the water, in neighborhoods, downtown, and all with perfect weather and an extremely knowledgeable tour guide, Jamie. This was the last fun item on my quick Portland vacation and it did not disappoint. Definitely check out if you have a few hours, want some gorgeous views, and want to know more about this wonderful city.

My husband and I came across this company while visiting Portland, and we were able to get on their noon tour to the Columbia River pretty last minute. Lucky for us, we scored on a beautiful day with an awesome tour guide named Daniel. He was super knowledgeable about the history or Portland a lots of stories about the various falls. He's also a great photographer willing and able to capture your moments for you.
The bonus is that he also gives lots of shopping and dining recommendations too. Book a tour with Daniel, you'll have lots of fun

We were looking for a fun way to see the city while we were in town and decided to sign up for the Donut bike tour. Our guide Ana was amazing and insightful! We made stops at Nola Doughnuts, Blue Star Donuts, Coco Donuts, and the infamous Voodoo Doughnuts. We were able to skip the line and try the yummiest doughnuts ever! Ana pointed out the unique parts of the city as we rode through the streets and recommended places for us to go while we're in town. I'd love to try the other bike tours next time we're back in town!

We signed up for the Beer Tour and it was great!
Paid $69 per person and it was ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT! We got a ride around the city and stopped at 3 breweries. Our Tour guide was amazing... Daniel was our tour guide...DAN THE MAN! The tour lends itself to a fun time and to meet new people. After the first stop, we started to loosen up and just talk about life... Portland and new sights.

Check In: signed up through trip advisor. Check in was super easy, asked our name and signed a waiver. Then they got us fitted for helmets and a bike(quick and easy)

Tour: Dan the Man Took un on a waterfront

This bike tour and Washington Park were the highlights of my recent trip to Portland! Jamie was our tour guide and really exemplifies the kind and laid back nature of the city. We did the Gorge tour, where we got to see some beautiful waterfalls along the Columbia River Gorge. It felt like the right balance of driving, bike riding, and hiking to see the sights. Here's how it went for $100:

Two tours are available for the Gorge tour throughout the day--one at 9AM and the other at 1PM. The 9AM tour was sold out, so we booked for the later one instead. We had a total of seven people in our group

Daniel and Karyin did a damn good job on my bike tour. Since this is the first time in Portland, it gave me a good perspective on how local people act. When I arrived in the morning, they were pretty nice and laid-back. I felt comfortable even though I went solo and they sorta became my buddies by the end of the tour. They were knowledgeable about the area and did not feel like they were "rushing" the tour.

I liked the snacks and the bikes they provided. I just wish I could have done the other tours with them.

After the bike ride Daniel took us to the multnomah falls!

Dan was super-sweet and knew a ton of knowledge about Portland history and the various neighborhoods. We made a stop at Blue Star Donuts (passion fruit donut, and rose 24K donut - yum!), the Cacao chocolate spot, and he was even down to stop by Heart roasters so I could pick up some fresh-roasted beans for friends!

Thanks, guys! :)

Daniel rocks! This bike tour was a great way to see Portland breweries and get a nice little taste of biking in the city.

We stopped at 3 different breweries and got to taste over 25 beers.

We also got some historical highlights and a great little hidden behind the scenes peak at the ballroom at McMenamins.

Highly recommended!!

Honestly, I was really hesitant to do this tour. Not because I hate nature or anything. I'm just out of shape LOL.

I'm glad I did it though. This was one of the highlights on my Portland trip. I'm not the active type, but the satisfaction of being able to finish this makes you feel so good.

Sarah was our tour guide, and she was awesome. She knew her stuff and was very and I mean VERY patient with my group on the tour. We did the Columbia George Tour ($99, $89 after triple A discount) and it comes with a water bottle.

If you are thinking whether or not this tour is worth it
